  • I visited the under cover school on Merseyside that was featured on the BBC’s Panorama. I speak to the owner of the building, see the smashed up minibus and the vandalism on the school.

    Quite tough watching that Panorama episode and makes me lose faith in humanity. Those staff have far too much hate to be doing that job and I hope the council are able to recover some of the money they handed to that place. I do feel sorry for the landlord of the building though I understand peoples anger after seeing what has gone on there.

    Great video. It's sad for the guy who owns the property .
    But i do understand the anger, i to watched the show, and it was horrible. It was upsetting that the kids' families had hope for a better life for their kid's only to have it thrown in their face .
    What must them kids have been thinking to be punched, swear at, to be belittled.
    Why just cause their different . These bastards prayed on the weakest of the weak, hope their kids, their wives, their brothers and sisters, their friends, neighbours, are happy their have these bastards as family and friends.

    Private enterprise should NOT be allowed to profit from the vulnerable. .. This is a prime example....Homes for people with learning disabilities and autism, also dementia, special needs , children's homes are all just business these days.... they are owned by businesses men who get sky high returns from local authorities....SHOULD ALL BE STATE RUN...I'm not saying they would be perfect, but profiting from the vulnerable can never come to any good, there are numerous horrific documentaries on these places.local authorities just dump people in them...so on paper they are sorted.

    • @Kevcupo
      @Kevcupo  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I get what you’re saying, but there are some fantastically run private homes who have the people’s interest at heart. Not just the financial reward for a half hearted business. More due diligence is needed before such a person sets up

    Chances are every council have this procedure in place, so this could possibly be happening all over the country.
    So if the BBC found out about this before the council just points to a massive cover, well done to the person who contacted the BBC.

    Behaviour is the worse think you can possibly do when your a leader - she is an absolute disgrace and she needs to charged in someway if possible - so should the owner. I am absolutely appalled by this as we should all be. Thank you for covering this Kevin let’s not let awareness of what is going on disappear.

    I'm surprised this place was Ofsted inspected. You'll find many councils use alternative provisions & independent day schools like this place that aren't regulated with non qualified teachers supposedly educating vulnerable children & and young people. Liverpool city council used many unregulated places up until a few years ago when Education director Jonathan jones was in charge at Liverpool city council but hes now jumped ship to knowsley cc. We have our own places in Liverpool that I wouldnt put an animal in mate. You are probably old enough to recall Dyson hall, LCC still use this place & it's called New heights. The other two places to avoid is Clifford Holyroyd & Ernest Cookson that LCC say are SEND schools, I've got pictures of their so called sensory rooms. My own child has Autism & I'm a SEND advocate in my spare time. I could tell you some stories about our own city mate. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what is going on around the country.

    • @Kevcupo

    • @Mello-bw7tx
      @Mello-bw7tx 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @Kevcupo absolutely Kev, Liverpool used six non Ofsted alternative provisions up until 2 years ago. Councils have a statutory duty to provide education but schools don't have any responsibility if they get rid of a child. Things would rapidly change if the law was changed to make schools responsible for excluded children but government won't do it as their scared of the Education unions. It's out of sight out of mind & government want more alternative provisions so they can hide the murky world they've created.

    Hi K.C image works keep.up the great work. I think I seen this bus around somewhere and I always wondered what it was. I did not no it was a school and was under the impression it was a summer after school club. My oldest son is special needs and his school is amazing but when u hear and see things like this it scares and makes you worry and feel you can't always trust people.

    I exposed this place as a parent of a child abused in there. As you can see how bad it was wirral council were told over and over again. Many parents complained to the LADO and yet nothing changed. We are hopeful the police will now take action against more than just the five because every member of staff were complicit by doing nothing. External staff also refused to get involved but knew what was happening. The kids had no where to go and who would have believed them. Well done to the BBC who have been a pleasure to work with and were keen to stop children from suffering.

    I know a lot about this subject believe, and just for instance say if somewhere like this was offered by big business to maybe do experimental test and with some cases full blown experiments, for funds, they would take it, offering costs paid trips paid extra staff and modernisation of their systems and the biggest one paid for experts in every field required, and often that’s what is used to help the interest if actually found out or being discovered. It’s happened and I am working on getting it out and I have had a certain bit of help from such a unique place, and unfortunately it was not done willingly but used as ideas around a horror story, it was the headmasters son of such a place after he passed it was floodgates open, and it still goes on today in that part of the world enough about that, Dan wouldn’t stand a chance getting in the army cadets let alone the regular army or then the SAS he ain’t got two days in him with that attitude, and as he’s such a tough guy and mixed martial artist, why don’t he have a charity fight with my son and give the money, directly to the parents of the kids involved for anything that they need and would like to do, if he would like to change and make amends otherwise he’s going to have the respect of absolutely no one, and he’ll get bullied everywhere he goes apart from pointless others just like him, until it gets too much and leave him alone, no loyalty

We all get vetted prior to employment, but crb checks just mean that someone hasn’t been caught. Interesting though how a CEO has zero qualifications or understanding of care and education. Surely this needs to be looked into further with ofsted and cqc to ensure proper leadership and governance is in place with proper understanding and management.
