"Be silly to take world class art for granted".....Absolutely. Now more than ever the preservation of theatres, performance venues in general and the incredible people who work in so many varied roles in these wonderful places should take the limelight.

I saw it the first time I went, Linda. If it is not the greatest of Agatha's plays, it is wonderful and evocative to see the living history of the play personally. I loved it!

Thank you for the lovely report, I haven't seen the Mousetrap but I saw Murder at Vicarage by Christie. On my every summer trips to London I've seen many fab musicals, Mamma Mia when it played at Prince of Wales, now at the Novello, 2019 was my 10th Mamma, I have the tickets to prove it. Lion King, Jersey Boys, the Phantom 4 times, many more.

Sorry Robert, I stopped watching your video to ask my last question.... your video answered my question! This where we saw the play! My mother has since passed and it is amazing to now remember this.. I remember hailing a black cab for us from the outside of the theater... my mom was impressed with that! Have a good day.

At school,we got to do the one show outside the west end in 1990, they only grant one license each year for someone to perform the mousetrap. I did go and watch the west end version in 1997. Great video
Have you tried for a royal box seat at theatre royal Drury lane? Means being in the right place in the returns que at the right time, but I managed to sit in the royal box at my second attempt. Only the once though lol

Robert-I visited London with my mother in 1975 (from America) when I was 12. We saw Mousetrap when we visited. Would it have been at the theater you show here? That would be amazing! Do you think that is where we saw Mousetrap? Has it been running at the same theater all this time?

Price of the shows are ridiculous, we are going to London in April and looking to see a kid friendly show. Tickets £250 each! £750 for 2 1/2 hour to see the Lion King. There are some cheaper tickets at £90each for crap seats. Welcome to rip off Britain. Deserves to go under.
