In this video, we look at anaerobic respiration. First we explore why a lack of oxygen prevents the production of ATP. We then look at how this is partially solved by anaerobic respiration in mammals (producing lactic acid or lactate) and in plants and yeast (producing ethanol).

Is fermentation and anaerobic respiration the same thing?

If we're talking about yeast, then yes. The word "fermentation" is sometimes used quite casually to refer to different reactions.

For A level biology are you videos AQA only or when you put a specific thumbnail does it apply to everyone? Also your A level Chemistry do you cover the OCR spec aswell?

in the thumbnail it lists what specification its from , he covers aqa, ocr and edexcel

they aim to cover AQA OCR and Edexcel, similarly to the gcse videos where videos tagged triple science were not useful to combined students, certain videos are exclusive to exam boards, you can see this as it will have eg: (OCR) at the end of the title.

if in doubt just look at the specification too see what and what isnt relevant to you
