I think if you are going to go through the effort of putting halfway decent themeing on a ride you can at least take the extra step to hide the sight lines to the rest of the park. They could have made this a dark ride and it would have been at the very least acceptable. Why bother spending the money on decor and music only to have the rest of the park take all of that effort and flush it down the toilet. I've seen cheaper done worse have a better effect because they decided to build a box around it and paint the box matte black.

By the way, I'm giving the video a "like" -- after all we're rating the video here on TH-cam and not the ride. SoCal Attractions 360 does excellent work in showing us these rides -- whether they're good or bad.

The litle fun of Autopia is that you must steer yourself (or get shaky-bumping all the time, and derail... lol ... sometime... it DOES happen on Autopia) Efteling's "Oude Tuffer" is a Ford-T themed ride , vehicles similar to these Universal's, BUT, with the Autopia style self steering. If driven by too young kids, the steering function can be blocked, there.
Nice! Although being able to see the rest of the park kind of ruins the atmosphere. They need to plant trees like the kind at disneylands jungle cruise around the ride to make it more immersive. It wouldnt completely block the rest of the park out, but it would help. Either that or heighten the walls a bit more.

This is a great video... but it makes me sad. That ride is terribly boring. It looks cool but literally does nothing. How did this pass muster with Universal?

I just wish the ride experience was as good as the theming though.

The ride looks so relaxing when I visit Universal Studios Singapore I’m definitely gonna go on that ride hearing the music from The Mummy in background is incredible 😊
This ride is suitable for people who are tired but still want to play and also this ride is family friendly 😊😊
When I visit USS first time, there’s 60 minutes wait to take this wonderful attraction!!
been on Universal Studios Singapore, this is the longest waiting time even with express pass on the day that i've been there. i don't know why
Rico Radh Last week I waited for the river rapids ride in Jurassic section for over 60 minutes. Won't be going on that one the next time around!

If it wasn’t stated in the description, I’d never guess that this is a Universal Studios park. Seems so different than the United States versions.
A show room or triggered event would've been nice its like sea world's submarine ride but with out any interactions

Great video of a ride that has wasted potential. I get that it's a slow-moving vehicle but you can still do a lot with that. Lots of tunnels, in and out of rooms, a "suspended bridge" ( putting that in quotes because obviously it would be a cement track that just looks like a bridge ) and any of a slew of other great ideas that literally EVERYONE who just watched this thought of. They should rename this "Driving through the Swap Meet Parking Lot".

considering how roughly the car seems to be banging against the ride rails as it moves, I would be a little concerned about ending up in the water.
Even my 8yo nephew hated this ride, they should just replace it with something awesome
Seems far too short. Even, the pleasantry of these jalopies moving across the bridges was very beautiful. It lacks any scarier element. And could certainly use more trackage however old-fashioned a ride it is. It deserves better than five minutes going in a figure eight course run.

Do note people that this ride was made specially for kids like the sesame street ride or the madagascar ride. They needed at least one kiddy ride in each zone making the park faimly friendly otherwise the park is just rated for teens and above. When going to a Theme park that calls themselves family friendly, do expect rides like these.

Good video of the ride but a terrible ride experience. Even one that's meant for little kids, there's very little happening and I think the designers were counting on the soundtrack to carry the theme. Where they actually spent some money on effects is where the ride doesn't work the most -- I'm talking about the spinning cylinders of scarabs (they must have really thought they had something there since they made THREE of them). The whole ride needs to be thought out better and it should be redeveloped.

I remember this type of ride in 6 Flags...in 1970.
A ride like this, much shorter though, is at Six Flags Over TX.
It was obviously intended to be a kid friendlier version of The mummy. The video description pretty much sums it up.
I remembered the workers said “no worries, there won’t be any water” I thought they were being sarcastic, but they weren’t so it was kinda boring :( but still

i've never given feedback on the filming of these videos because they're done well, but this one has to be done over if possible , needs more paning of the camera -- especially at the appropriate things and times..
i feel like this ride would be better if it were a dark ride instead, the rest of the park in the background seems to ruin the feel for me
