- Detailed comparison between the 2014, 2021 and beloved 1991 Air Jordan 6 carmine. I'll be breaking down multiple angles of each release and discussing materials used, specs and more.
They did an excellent job with the newer version it pretty much looks exactly like the OG
Best retro to date for sure but OG definitely still has the edge by plenty.
Just got mine today from a restock. Thanks for staying on point and not continuing to cut away with music and unnecessary shots of the shoes like many others do.

⛽🔥💨 Dope carmine 6 collection & comparison, I don't buy from resellers but 2weeks after the release date (Restock) I did copp the last pair in my size 13 (No pink midsole) I only have 3 pair of 6s Infrared, Travis Scott 6 olive, Carmine

I got a barely used pair for around $100 recently. Great retro. My least favorite Jordan 6 colorway but my favorite model. Looking forward to the white infrared and sport blue with Nike Air branding.

Awesome video!!! I just got mine today and I love them. I also got the original pair for Christmas 1991!!!! I got mine at River Oaks Mall in Calumet City,Illinois. I am from Hammond, Indiana so I loved when you said you got your OG’s at south lake mall in Merrillville!!! I loved growing up watching MJ and the Bulls , got to see him play against the pistons at old Chicago Stadium, loudest building ever!!!! great video, enjoy your new 2021’s!
Awesome man, that's great to hear from another local! We were very lucky to be at the right place and right time to live the area and have the goat and the Bulls to our disposal. Truly blessed, we share a very similar background. I saw MJ and the Bulls 92 playoffs game 2 vs the Knicks. Nothing like old Chicago Stadium, simply amazing.

Great video! Those 2014s look pitiful compared to the OG and 2021 lol. JCPENNEY was my go to store back in the day! I bought a ton of gear from there I still have to this day from the 90s. I bought a pair of Carmines last week at Shoe Palace. The soles looked pretty clean without a pink tint. I've seen pairs way worse. Most were at some Footlocker stores. Then again, who cares about the lighter pink tint. Nobody wouldn't be able to tell in daylight anyway in my honest opinion. They'll turn color anyway as they age.
Sweet man, my first two pairs came from JC Penny's. We used to get our championship shirts from there as well every time the Bulls won. So many good memories. The pink isn't terrible, not a huge issue but if it gets darker with age I'll repaint.
Just grab the carmine 6's and infared 6's in NYC. So excited so had to watch this video

The stitching on these kill 19 infrared. On your IG I put infrared but I meant I like the infrared more but not the stitching lol. They kill ere d it with this retro! My favorite retro in the past 10 years lol

Great video! I have the 2014 and 2021 but not the 1991. Is the ankle pod actually a separate piece stitched in, or just recessed compared to the rest of the panel? I’ve always wondered that with the OGs but never had a pair.
Thanks for tuning in, that's a very good question and I'm not 100% sure. I believe it's all one piece and the way it was molded.

Ah, small world! I grew up in portage but live in Chicago now.
I paid $185 which is below retail straight from Nike retail is like $217 with the tax but I got $20 off because I used my membership but yeah I got them when they came out in size 12 I didn’t wear them for a good minute they were icy then I wore them like five times and they just started getting that yellow color a little bit. It’s not horrible, but I wear them more now I’m going to actually use them for what they were made for which is wearing instead of sittin in a box
I'd seen in another video that the OG 1991 ankle sockliner has a velvet type feel to them.

That Nylon stiching on the 91s on the tongue is rare!!!!! Did not come on all the carmines. Or all the 6s from 1991 so do your homework. I'm still trying to find out if and why they did few pairs.
All the 6s I own have the straight stitching. I do my homework. This was a head to head comparison, it couldn't be more transparent.
I notice that the 2014 version has silver inside of the holes on the ankle collar while the 2021 version is just plain black.
And I always wonder about the padding on the ankle collar on the 91, is there more padding on the 91 in comparison to the other versions?
The OG ankle bubbles are larger and softer on the OG. Retro definitely more firm.

On the inside part of he shoe (medial) the 2014 had a part of the midsole painted black (near the toe box). The 2021 does not. Can you confirm what the og looks like?
Also interesting is the black infrared from 2019 has the bigger bubbles on the ankle, yet the 2021 does not.

Super comfortable and fit like a glove back then. 2014 retros were terrible like bricks, the 21 are much improved though I like them

The new one looks better and I had the original
It's not puffyed out more it looks like that because the original is yellow
But the puffyed spot is a little wider on the original
And the slant on the retro looks better

I don't really collect every retro, more about the originals and highlighting the newest retro on how they hopefully improved. I've sold these 2014 since.. new version much better.
