We are looking forward for a search module ( with filters) that is can be used in listing websites, like the one in toolset. Thank you for the excellent job!
In my website I have tours instead of recipes. They are already in 1 page each. Is there an alternative to post cards to display multiple tours with dynamic content?
in the video 10.37 on the front designer, I saw that you selected in the section Advanced Custom Fields, ACF Text. I have the latest Avada, and ACF Pro 5.8, and I don't have that. Why? Do I have to activate it on the Avada theme? Or any other setting? Please help
If you need assistance, please submit a support ticket at my.avada.com/submit-a-ticket/, and one of our support staff will assist you. Or check ACF documentation.
Great video - Thank you. With the latest version of ACF Pro (6.3.3) - Is there any need to install the Custom Post Type UI Plugin? As I see ACF already includes this feature?
Be sure to watch the How to Use ACF Repeaters With Avada video, which continues on with that same recipes website, and used that method instead - th-cam.com/video/hopIAmnfL8Q/w-d-xo.html
@@AvadaVideos Thanks! Might be worth doing a video tutorial on how to use Taxonomies? As I wanted to categorise my custom post types and enable the filter option in my postcard element.
If you need some assistance with this, please head over to My Avada and submit a support ticket. Our team will gladly assist and guide you with this. They might have some ideas. > bit.ly/3WBiskw
Maybe I missed it, but how does the ingredients list get populated. I'm trying to find a way to get ACF repeaters to populate an Avada Checklist. Not sure I see how thats possible as there's no dynamic field options that can pull in varying number of items.
At 6:21 you can see that the ingredients are part of the recipe post. They are just edited manually. If you require some more assistance, you can submit a support ticket, and our team will gladly assist you > bit.ly/2rbLnxz
Fully functional? It's great to add custom fields for ease of population and display but from a user perspective if they cannot filter by these elements it is not ideal. If I wanted to filter recipes by difficultly before I read them, then how would I do this?
Hi Jamie. Mainly because that part is just manual content placed into each recipe, and nothing to do with ACF. As you can see at 6:45, it's just two columns with some titles and text and a checklist for the ingredients. I then saved it as a template in the library to reuse and then edit on other recipes. See this other ACF video - studio.th-cam.com/users/videohopIAmnfL8Q/ - for how I changed that method to use ACF and Repeaters.
Wow! Another demonstration of how powerful Avada is. Plus, now I'm craving raspberry apple pie!
I know, right...
the content you created for this theme is top notch, thanks for making editing in wordpress easier!
You're very welcome!
OMG, I have been waiting for this
Enjoy!

Yes, you are correct. That wasn't possible when the video was made.
