@@leighbarrington5549 I don't want to have it inside in case it fails and floods the whole house. And if inside, I want it accessible from a real door and not a wall panel
YES, CHANCE, CALIFORNIA DOES HAVE GREAT MOBILE HOMES!! THIS ONE, IN PARTICULAR, HAS A VERY MIDERN LOOK, IT'S SIMPLE AND LOVELY!! IT'S LIKE GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEAES: JUST RIGHT!! THANK YOU!!
I'm not sure about this model in California, but the Golden West version of this, (Golden West is part of Clayton) that I toured in Spokane Washington, can be had with either electric, gas or wood, fireplace.
Thank you for showing this home and for visiting my home state of Californ-i-a. I giggle every time you say it that way because my family and I sometimes say it that way.
Never thought I’d see you here in my Golden State, and surprise surprise, the dealership you’re visiting is practically in my backyard!! Nice to have you here!
Love the kitchen cabinets. I'd have the top cabinets in diningroom with glass doors and no open shelves. I would put microwave above stove. Id get rid of island. I like those sprinklers. Not as noticeable as the ones that stick out. Very nice home. I like. Thank you for the tour.
It's cute, not a fan of 2 bdrm. Like the dark cabinets in the kit. There's no pantry, and it appears that the laundryrm had to be a stacker, not big enough for side by side- or a sink or storage. Someone will love. Thanks Chance. Merry Christmas to you & your beautiful family. ❤️🎄❤️
This is like the Spruce by Golden West (Clayton), but the spruce has a solid wall of cabinets in place of the coffee bar in the dining room, and set of cabinets between the utility room and bathroom. That changes the bathroom layout and moves the closet to the bathroom wall side of bedroom.
Omgosh, Chance, I can't belive you addressed the way you pronounce tile!!! Lol! I had so much trouble understanding when I first started watching. I thought you were saying towel shower. I had never heard that, and I'm a designer, so I thought I was out of touch with design terms. And I'm southern!!🤣🤣🤣 I understand you better now.
The hot water access is outside again. It must be a CA rule. I like the kitchen and dining area. I really like the cupboards in the dining area, with a nice way to display your nice decorative pieces. Lots of drawers as well. I really like this house for retired folks. The only thing I don't like is so little storage and no coat closet,
@@gailrodgers3079 more of a preference, as many are in garages and in closets inside. The one steadfast ordinace is that if it's in the garage( or other place that power tools etc are stored, it must be a minimum of 18" off the floor so it can't ignite fumes. We had ours moved inside 20 years ago to a galvanized closet. The rental we had just moved out of had o e fail and flooded the whole house. We also don't have to worry about pipes freezing unless in the mountains or high desert, especially in southern California .
I really like how they put the water heater access on an outside door, beside the side door. Not sure about those other door access things on that back corner, though. Anyway, water heater access from the outside means a much nicer and easier change when it's time to replace that water heater compared to the closet one...like I have that's in a corner so small that you have to just turn sideways to do everything..lol. Plus, in many states means you could go with electric or even a gas water heater. Anyway, love those kitchen cabinets, and that herringbone tile behind the stove. Nice layout and space is used just right. Cheers.
I wouldn’t change anything about the looks of the kitchen, except I would rather it not be so open to the living room. The wooden cabinets and all of the cupboards, plus the built-in by the dining area, looked great! The house, overall was nicely built and the price was decent~Thanks Chance😊
I'm about a 20 minute drive from Perris. Been in the market for something just like this to move to AZ. Thinking pricing will be better in Az. What do you think about that?
Some years ago I lived in a manufacturered home, but got priced out with the space rent. It is California after all. Nice size home, but I would want no carpet, step in shower, white cabinets & set up in S Carolina.
Who in God's name designed that lounge? Given the positioning of the sofas, the lack of walls, and the positioning of the windows, where's the TV supposed to go? This is the inherent problem with open plan living and bad design.
I give partial blame to the people who staged these homes. Many times there seems to be no good location for the TV and there's usually too much knick-knacky crap on the walls, countertops and furniture.
What it boils down to Clayton Homes is this, 180k for a trailer just isn't reasonable, nor based in reality. Folks can buy a nice fixer upper stick and brick home on 5 acres in GA or some place for 120k. Not reasonable, and not a price based in reality.
Thank you for showing a wide view of the living room, dining room, and kitchen. It helps to understand the layout of the rooms. 🏡
What I need is something on the affordable side…..
Merry Christmas He is the reason
I like the fact that you access the water heater from outside and it’s not in a closet.
@@leighbarrington5549 I don't want to have it inside in case it fails and floods the whole house. And if inside, I want it accessible from a real door and not a wall panel
That’s pretty standard in California construction across the board
Wish we could do that in Pennsylvania

LOVE the dark wood in the kitch/dining room!!!! Super nice.
If it weren't for those floor vents, I would have this one at 7 stars!!!
I just love the layout! All it needs is a fireplace and a walkout basement
@@staciepado3644 you'll be hard pressed to get either in California, but I'm sure they could be done, though the FP would have to be gas

@NatesHomeTours they've moved away from wood in all new construction in California because of wildfire risks and air quality concerns
Nicely laid out home. Very comfortable but modest. Thanks!
Chance, I'm from California, and I believe that the best things that come out of there don't go back unless they are work-related.
Chance & Family, Merry Christmas to y'all. Thank you for keeping the Lord first & foremost. He is the reason for the season. 😊
Amen brother. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Wow the dining area is Very exclusive!!!!❤
They have a six burner stove 😮 wow!!!!!
I am so happy you made it to California! That's where I'm from. But hopefully Homes Direct will clean up their lot and make it more presentable. 😊
Their lot in Modesto is very clean. I've toured thier homes in Modesto.
Nice!!! very clean lines👌🏿 I'm ready to move in.❤❤
Best kitchen,dining room setup.❤
Very nice two bedroom, two bath home !

Yes for 2 bed 2 bath I think this is great. Some people are going for less space. This is cute.

@PixiePrincessBrat plus outside waterheaters are safer for ventilation, especially in case of earthquakes.
Very nice. Thanks for the tour. Blessings.
Happy Holidays Chance to you and your family…
This is very beautiful.
You're here! Like less than an hour away!
In that area, it could be a number of things, including a number of types of rattlesnakes
"No wire racks" its a lot drier here so there's less worry about excess moisture and mildew.

How was California?? Great tour
Happy Saturday Chance
Merry Christmas everyone. 🎄
this is perfect for me love it
Very unique! Loved the dining room area. I don't use a microwave very much; I would prefer a built-in wall oven with a cooktop.
Very nice home. ❤
I love it!
Merry Christmas!
Thats good to know,..🤔...I had no idea that California had some prefabrication construction companies
@@lockhain4335 we have quite a few retailers, and at least 1 plant that I know of. My father and I visited the manufacturing plant decades ago

The ones in Sacramento are amazing at homes direct in west Sacramento
Chance, if someone wanted to buy the house can they purchase it with the furniture in it?

The descriptions says it is a 3 bed 3 bath.
Chance. What is price point on this one? With the $15k discount
I think the description is wrong. It says 3 bed 3 bath and the house is not that.
What is an ADU?
Accessory dwelling unit.
People put them in their backyard so they can have a rental property or space for relatives.
Your description is different than the house you're touring....FYI....if you want to update that...
Honestly I thought it would be more expensive being California
Long as you dont say "CALI" we good. lol

should be $150k and under. not that large
