This was VERY cool. A lot of history and great books. Just a really unique set up, And I saw a copy of Hobgoblins, a book I haven't thought of in years. Plus a Rob Zombie reference that was such a relevant tie in to the bookstore. This is just another reason why I like you and your channel. It is real and slightly off center. Just like I want my books to be, interesting.
Amazing video. That Factory book kevin's grandad wrote looks like a Gene Bilbrew cover. Sleaze royalty! Please keep em coming. Justin aka The Paperback Fanatic.
ha! Says the guy with the exact same edition in the background of every one of his videos. I threw that in there for you and Jake. This is actually the store where I got my copy.
Hey, what's behind that bamboo curtain? In all seriousness, Bonnett's is a national treasure. I hit it every time I'm in the Gem City. I found a rare "Slocum" novel there and remember the complete set of "Bounty Hunter" novels on display. I'm from the Miami Valley. My first experience of Bonnett's was traveling there with some high school friends to see the rare pulp magazines under the glass counter. I remember the second Mr. Bonnett, who was a tall, bearded, no-nonsense man. I tried to hustle the price down on a rare Greenleaf Press magazine, but he wasn't having it. This place belongs on the National Register of Important Places to see in America. Kevin keeps the torch lit for everyone who ever spent the afternoon reading a Doc Savage novel.
@TimothyMayer13 Yes! That's an awesome story. People need to talk about the places we love like this while they exist and not only after they disappear. Awesome comment!
Ha ha. That Bullwhip Griffin book. One of my top ten in "most often found in used bookstores" list. Did you buy the horrid Richard S. Prather Shell Scott Pockets?
This video is awesome. Makes me want to open a bookshop. Great job!

there are actually quite a few quality shops here!
Bravo! Great episode!
thanks!
That store looks amazing, and its owner seems like way too wholesome a guy to be burdened with that accursed DEATHWORLD omnibus. 😂

@@TheBookGraveyard My copy remains on my shelf as a reminder of just how harrowing this hobby can be. Keeps me humble.
@@TheBookGraveyard BOOOOOO
