Lydon said he did the ad so he could get PIL back on the road, can we all try and be a bit more grown up about it and accept that sometimes shit has to happen for a reason.
Totally agree, Lydon did it so he could finance the album himself and so keep out of corporate clutches. If you own the recordings, as John did because he financed them, you just need a distribution deal from the record company and have more control over the product because 'you' own it, not the record company.
Nice video by the way !
rp61productions still pissing people off got to love that
I saw Pil on that tour. 2 1/2 hours of epic. One of the best shows I've ever seen.
Plus he was charming in that ad.
Haha! only just seen this, good one..@@Kelly14UK
- hey m8, thanks for posting.
In 1986 we ripped up "Satellite" for our college "Air Band" skit. Remember the excitement of flipping over to the B-side and hearing an overwhelming gem? This is one of 'em! We finished in 5th place but two bands got DQed and we snuck onto the podium Pistols-style! p.s. We didn't give anything to our fake Malcolm
Thanks for posting, good video.
Great clip of the iconic Sex Pistols! Still sounds fkng amazing.
One of the heaviest tracks ever fuckin awesome!
I’m blown away, I never heard this before!
Stefan Hamilton A true Pistols classic. Fuck off attitude and a fantastic power riff . B side of H.I.T.S!
has there ever been a better b-side?
this is better than the majority of punk a-sides back in the day
I wanna be me on the b side of Anarchy in the UK. Great b side also
@@DOMSKYTRANCE totally agree
That video is close to genius! Fantastic film.
Punk would never happen today, could you imagine with the permanently offended self righteous?? Punk is what's needed now, a bit of reality, stop the pomposity again!!! Arghhh!!!
What a shit sanitised world we live in mate, shove your health and safety up your ?
Of course everything got worser after punk what a horrible development
The sad thing about that is that something like punk NEEDS to happen today... now more than ever. Things are much more grim these days. People are just too fucking defeated to get pissed off enough to finally get off their asses and DO something about it.
true words not with all the powder puffs and the snow flakes and even the vegans ha ha
@@kevinbeck6785 nah mate its people like you who are putting down others and generalising large groups of people that are stopping something like punk happening again
if u want to start a movement then go and start one?? lmao
Can you imagine all that spit today!!! Living in COVID times today???!! Spit was considered a good thing back then, objects & people were thrown on and off the stage, sometimes simultaneously! All kinds of things flying about the club. Could be imitated-- never replicated! Especially the Johnny Rotten 'stare'. His stare is so real-- it still gets me to this day. I miss the true punk days. Thank God there was no internet or cell phones back then! We have memories of great times. That's a whole lot better to me.
Punk is never dead
I hope so

I love these guys..... the days before the pathetic boy bands
I wonder what these guys would think of Ed Sheeran headlining Wembley? -
The oh so safe stars for the oh so old young.... christ. bloodless shite or what?
It's the same old story isn't it, that certain type of person who just can't think for themselves and somehow need the input 'n' direction of the media and others around them on how to act. From dressing themselves in the exact same clothing as their friends, to what they should be thinking in any given situation.. These days I give myself a well earned tap on the back just for getting through days surrounded by these morons, who act, dress, talk, and generally project themselves like robots who are stuck in repeat mode....
Let's not forget all those pathetic girl bands too..
The Sex Pistols kinda were a boy band - They just didn't suck .
The Sex Pistols were the first boy band. Have you not seen The Greatest Rock And Roll Swindle?
This is one of my favorite Sex Pistols cuts!! To the downplayers and naysayers who think this isn't the most relevant and real punk music n existence, as opposed to much of the overproduced drivel that came decades later, I PITY YOU AND YOUR BLINDLY NARROW PERSPECTIVE. How very sad....
Freedom, insane attitude, anarchy, John Lydon. That says everything. :)
Probably my favourite Pistols song!!
Suburban kid, ya got no name
Two ton(e) baby and ya got no brain
I bet you're only happy in suburbian dreams
But I'm only laughing cause you ain't in my scheme
Hey baby
I love you
I love you
I love you
I only ever listen when you're on the phone
From your safety where you sit at home
When I got nothin' better to do
Then there is always you
Cause you're good for my shoe
Hey baby
I love you
I love you
I love you
I'm in love
Yeah in love
Oh, can't you feel it?
No I don't like where you come from
It's just a satellite of London
And when you look me in the eye
Just remember that I wanna die
Hey baby
I love you
I love you
I love you
You're the name but you can't tell
Lookin' like you just came outta hell
How did ya figure that'd you'd any use?
All you're gonna get is my abuse
Hey baby
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you
Suburban kid, and ya got no name
You're too dumb baby and ya got no brain
I bet you weren't so happy in suburbia dream
But I'm only laughing, you ain't in my scheme, baby....
But I love you
I love you
I love you
I only ever listen when you're on the phone
From your safety restricted zone home
And when I got nothin' a-better to do
Then there is always you
You're good for my shoe
Hey, baby
I love you
I love you
I love you
You look at me and you just can't tell
You're looking like you just come outta hell
Acting like a dirty lavatory
There ain't no bid for your chastity....
Oi! baby
I love you
I love you
I love you
I'm in love
I'm really in love
Tried to join the scene, but you're too obscene
You're looking like a big fat, pig baked bean
How do ya figure that you'd be any use?
When all's you're gonna get, is my abuse
Hey babe
I love you
I love you
I love you
You know I don't like where you come from
It's just a satellite of London
And when you look me in the eye
I just remember that I wanna die
Hey baby
I love you
I love you
I love you
I can't take no more, it must stop!
There you go mate, fixed that for you! Happy to help a Pistols' fan.

Truly the last great rock n roll band, what came after, no matter how good, was never unique enough to inspire another rock n roll youth movement...
This is PUNK ROCK for ever...!!!
It must, of been epic 🤯 by the time they got to Texas, they had already fallen apart😂 the trippy thing was that you would see Steve Jones at every punk show in L.A... I saw PIL, The Professionals, before, seeing the Pistols, with the Original line up 😂 their, you have it... to be honest the Ramones ,Clash, the Damned had a much bigger impact on L.A. 👊 Cheers 🍻
