Saw him at Las Vegas. Kevin grinned and laughed, said no problem at all. Was happy to help Jeff. In fact talked to Matt Kenseth at Homestead last year after he got back off probation for him wrecking Logano. Told him there were a whole lot of us out there that stood behind him and respected him for doing what he did. He said thank you and said he really appreciated it and hearing it.
Kenseth was really nice. I truly wanted him to know that and felt he truly appreciated hearing it too. And yes Jeff winning was a really nice bonus. In fact the reason I went to Homestead was I told my best friend that if Jeff won Martinsville I was going to homestead.
I've been rewatching this for years and I didn't realize until today that Jeff never let go of Brad's collar until deep into the dogpile. Jeff disappears soon after grabbing on and then one of gordon's crew members grabs Brad's face for a second and you can see Jeff's arm and his hand still holding on. Then Jeff's face reappears and he looks like he's ready to kill Brad lmao. Man was livid.

Secondly, Keselowski's the best running at Penske right now, but JGR's really got speed in their cars. If you ask me, I'd say that the current best driver in the sport is Kevin Harvick. He's consistent, fast, and is definitely going to be a force to recon w/ for the championship. AyrtonHamilton2785 Hey, I'm not saying Keselowski isn't good, but you've gotta admit that in 2012, Keselowski drove like a champion compared to 2013-2015. He's doing really well this year, but we shall see in the chase if he's capable of contending for the title. And yes, the SHR cars have gotten some real speed, and even Danica's starting to get decent runs. Personally, I keep hoping that Danica will get a win soon before the chase begins. I don't think Danica's doing too bad as far as maintaining position; where I think the #10 team's flaw is qualifying. It could be on Danica, it could be on the team, but regardless, they've got to figure out their qualifying miss. I think if they can do that, they'll have a good chance at getting consistent top-10-- maybe even top-5-- runs. Track position is a huge factor in races. As for Hendrick, I do hope better things are waiting for them on the horizon. It's looking very likely that Jeff Gordon will come out of retirement to fill in for Dale Jr., and hopefully he'll have a good enough run at Indy to get some momentum back in that team. JJ's in the chase, but even he's been struggling lately. Surprisingly, I think Chase Elliot and Kasey Kahne might be in the two strongest cars at HMS right now. I think Kasey might need a win, though. Chase might be able to point his way into the chase, but I think when it comes down to Jr. and Kasey Kahne, they're probably going to need a win. As far as who's the current best driver in NASCAR, I think it's just safe for us to agree to disagree.

Brad Keselowski drives like a one-hit-wonder, anymore. His best season, w/o a doubt, was his 2012 season-- a season in which he went on to win the championship. He drove like a champion that year. What he's done since then, I don't even know. I keep saying that Keselowski's been driving like a jackass, but when it comes to moments like this, his driving is even jarring to that. Just look at the anger that was in Jeff's eyes as he went in to give Keselowski a piece of his mind... and his fist. lol

AyrtonHamilton2785 First of all, I'm not a Keselowski hater, so that part of your comment's killed.
Secondly, Keselowski's the best running at Penske right now, but JGR's really got speed in their cars. Hell, there was a point this past Sunday where JGR cars had 4 of the top 5 spots, and the other one was held by Martin Truex; who's driving a car that's powered by JGR equipment, and also attends the JGR meetings.
If you ask me, I'd say that the current best driver in the sport is Kevin Harvick. He's consistent, fast, and is definitely going to be a force to recon w/ for the championship.
I mean, he's no Jeff Gordon, but he's better than Keselowski. *chuckle*
+nascarfanatic2425 chill not 'better' than keslowski but I can say they practically identical right now. Stewart-Hass racing has found speed in their car even Danica managed to come away w good points last few races.
I say Keselowski you Say Harvick....either guy is tops right now in the sport. They both have good teams, but they outperformed their equipment all season long. JGR cars are just hooked up right now. Hendrick is a great team they'll heat up soon

AyrtonHamilton2785 Hey, I'm not saying Keselowski isn't good, but you've gotta admit that in 2012, Keselowski drove like a champion compared to 2013-2015. He's doing really well this year, but we shall see in the chase if he's capable of contending for the title.
And yes, the SHR cars have gotten some real speed, and even Danica's starting to get decent runs. Personally, I keep hoping that Danica will get a win soon before the chase begins. I don't think Danica's doing too bad as far as maintaining position; where I think the #10 team's flaw is qualifying. It could be on Danica, it could be on the team, but regardless, they've got to figure out their qualifying miss. I think if they can do that, they'll have a good chance at getting consistent top-10-- maybe even top-5-- runs. Track position is a huge factor in races.
As for Hendrick, I do hope better things are waiting for them on the horizon. It's looking very likely that Jeff Gordon will come out of retirement to fill in for Dale Jr., and hopefully he'll have a good enough run at Indy to get some momentum back in that team. JJ's in the chase, but even he's been struggling lately. Surprisingly, I think Chase Elliot and Kasey Kahne might be in the two strongest cars at HMS right now. I think Kasey might need a win, though. Chase might be able to point his way into the chase, but I think when it comes down to Jr. and Kasey Kahne, they're probably going to need a win.
As far as who's the current best driver in NASCAR, I think it's just safe for us to agree to disagree.
