The Namaqua Chameleon is relatively large for a Dwarf Chameleon, reaching up to 16 cm in length. The majority of their hunting occurs amidst sandy dunes and rocky terrains. However, certain coastal groups venture into intertidal zones to hunt marine arthropods, distinguishing them as the sole chameleon species to exhibit this behavior.
