Prepatch MK9 Cyrax was ridiculous. The resets were real and the execution was tight. I didn't have much time to play MKX when it was released but he looked beastly then too
Seeing Khalod play again brings back a lot of good memories for me. Played him a LOT on PC and I had this mistaken notion that if I could get just a little more solid, learn the match up a little better, I'd be on a level where I could actually compete with him. He was always supportive of the grind and had absolutely no problems handing me another 20-0. I never managed to get to that level, but it was still good times.
Finally sum1 knows how good khalod is cuz me losing to him felt like ppl saw it as me being trash on a 5-2😭 n match up also takes into a count cuz i played khalod with reptile and i was winning more cuz reptile can punish a lot of ermacs shit easy
@@chorizo4504 Yeah, having an easy punish for regular push and a super fast mid so you don't have to worry about d1 checks after slight negative frames makes a world of difference.

Mortal Kombat X will forever be the superior fighting game. The only thing it was missing was more characters and stages. Gameplay and controls are perfection!
The moment NRS realise they legit just need to make MKX 2.0 with new characters but the same hype, same fun, same running, same breaker. EVERYONE WOULD FUCKING BUY THAT SHIT. TWICE

Cyrax doesn’t use mids and also this cyrax didn’t poke back at negative frames to gain advantage also ermac pokes have much better range the cyrax’s...it’s called matchup knowledge beyond just math
Its hard because cyrax has pretty bad wake ups unlike ermac n cyrax has da saw but no armor so it’s useless on wake up unless u get lucky.... so overall its a bad match up
That set was amazing, no doubt about it. Those mixups from Chorizo seemed extremely hard not only to deal with but to put together. Both players are awesome! Just wonder why no one picks Raiden, though. Is he a bad character? :/
