Since Vergil can gain concentration and DT from dodging and just being near enemies I'd love to see a run using only his super moves (Judgement Cut End, Hell on Earth, and Deep Stinger) this would probably have to be done for the campaign since I doubt you could beat the timer on Bloody Palace like this

Urizen phase 3 is actually easy for Nero, if you want a safe method then use the normal reload bullet of Blue rose to fight him. When he does the "this's the end" spike plus punch move, use the max exceed High roller to get in the air and Urizen can never reaches you
I actually use only DSS and E&I often because Dante in so damn complex with everything, and its actually so much more fun and you can still pull off some cool ass combos with only those 2. I would recommend it to everyone as its pretty fun to see what you can pull off.

The only devil breakers is a pretty easy challenge , if you think about it , I’m glad someone made a video showing it . But this also demonstrates the power of Nero’s move set . For example both urizen fights to break the shield you just use helter skelters breakage move then use your tomboy or overture . For malfis aka bird lady using 2 overtures breakage and a tomboy shot can take it down pretty quick . Or even the gerbera petal ray shot . Because the area is in closed you can get a lot of damage same applies to Cerberus . Cavalier Angelo’s fight can actually be beaten with using just a tomboy but if u wanna be spicy you can use overture , gerbera , tomboy and rawhide . Rawhide can parry all his attacks .
Classic nero: no breakers, only red queen, blue rose, and the buster grab. DT is allowed, but makes you a little b***h. Dante Jackson: Dr. Faust and absolutely nothing else. Also no meteors on bosses, you're earning those kills.
My onw favorite way of playing Dante is literally just Sword with Balrog for primary and then pistols with shotgun or the rocket launcher. If I put everything on him then my lizard brain just gets overwhelmed with options and I keep messing up, but 2 melee and 2 ranged is just great. After playing Vergil so much I got spoiled. Like you really don't need all the weapons, just pick 2 or 3 and focus on them. Especially that you can enter Sin DT and finish stylishly doing those OP moves.

Try to beating BP as Vergil. (Yamato, and Mirrage Blades only.) No to Beowulf and Mirrage Edge, no doppelganger, no SDT, no World of V, and only *level 1 concentration.* (Draining it by running everytime I get to level 2..) Done it so its possible. I'd love to have you commentate about it.
You should do the exact same thing for Dante, but on DMC3. Same rules still apply. (Of course: Only do the first 101 levels to keep the DMC5 feel still there lol)
Ooh I'm so bad with dante in dmc3 haha, I know he's got a lot of weapons but you think he has over 100 moves in 3? The only way I cleared the bloody palace in 3 was Starfall spam with vergil lol

How about beating the bloody palace with only Royal Guard or winning without any type of Devil Trigger ability and no using the Royal guard technique (the attacking version) or winning with V but only using 1 pokémon each 10 stages or winning by only breaking your devil breakers, like by only holding down the button or by playing while looking at the mirror's reflection of the game which will give you inverted movement which could proof slightly challenge or even by beating the bloody palace but your only allowed to use 1 hand on the controller (or blindfolded if you can😅)
Yeah I saw a speedrun where they used that strategy and it was super fast, I was just going in with the mindset of trying to mitigate as many DB losses as possible so I used what I was comfortable with haha
@@LucidEnigmaX I personally used the rainbow/air taunt+knuckle method, on top of the Buster/DT activation as those can rack up stagger relatively reliably, and the only ones who really gave me trouble were furies and nobodys. The run does start looking scuffed around 60+ but with enough patience, and skill, it's not completely impossible, just rack up a lot of time at the start to build up a buffer. Also my bad, I probably should've worded the first comment a little better to include those, because Buster only is actually nigh impossible

Dante bp but you're only allowed to hit you're opponents while in dt (sdt not allowed). And to build meter youre allowed to use royal guard would be an interesting challenge

Idk why but nero is one of the easiest characters to learn and get good with him but its harder to beat bloody palace with him then vergil dante and even v
Nah I stayed away from the flying move, just bad timings trying to attack him when he was falling after his 4 judgement cuts and he would parry my attacks and hit me mostly, I think doppleganger got a couple hits in too
@@ryangoslingdrive Not impossible (i think). V’s cane does 35 damage and royal fork does 75. His cane can also counter attacks. I tried to test this by fighting a proto angelo, but it took me a long time to kill it

It's probably intentional and just more rare for him to go from ice>lightning instead of ice>fire, or maybe I just never noticed it before lol

Have you done BP Buster only? it's honestly one of the more satisfying runs I've ever tried in DMC5, it's not super hard, but it's pretty fun IMO
What do you do about the enemies that have to be staggered first, like Empusa Queen, Behemoth, Nobody, etc?
