I have been waiting for this for so long. You guys made my day. Ezio's one of the coolest assassins ever and my favorite one in the series. EDIT: If Bethany geeks out this much about Medici and Da Vinci, wait until you guys play/watch Syndicate.
The Ezio - Da Vinci dynamic is my favorite. You'll get to see more historical series in this so keep watching! Looking forward for part 2. I would also recommend going with the subtitles since the game translated the italian dub into english in the subs which are also equally hilarioius. Highly recommend doing that.
We already filmed the first 6 parts as we stay ahead on Patreon a month and then we want to be even further ahead in our reactions to keep the schedule. So subtitles don’t come to part 7 unfortunately 🤗 we don’t mind but it seems like a lot of people enjoy having them so we are making the switch

Did you play Mirage? They tried to get back to their roots but Basim just wasn’t as compelling as Ezio is and the villains were somewhat lackluster. But they did at least attempt to have the gameplay similar to old school AC 🤗
2:51 that is a reveal that Lucy was an insider. She is thought to be a templar because she works for Abstergo, but really and truly, she's an assassin. That frame there is showing her third finger missing, portraying the assassin's tradition (tradition was former, but now it is not. idk what happened to her finger, but it was a sign to show desmond that she's secretly helping him).
Fun fact, Christina is Christina Vespuci, relative of Amerigo Vespuci, whom the American continents were named for. The Ezio trilogy was truly great, and had such famous italians as Vespuci, Medici, Da Vinci, and Mario!
Assassin Creed 2 is still my favorite AC game to this day. It's just a part of me that I grew up with and Ezio is my favorite assassin of all. I have so much fond memories playing this game. It's the AC game I played the most of. Great reaction, you two

It's so weird watching this now. Since I played AC2, I've moved to Italy (near Florence, even) and learned Italian, so it's a bit of a trip recognizing locations and understanding the Italian bits of dialogue when I didn't before

Just thought I'd mention, not aure if anyone else did, but you guys should actually kinda remember Shaun and Rebecca from your playthrough of Valhalla. They were there in the modern setting with Layla and sometimes you can hear Shaun and Rebecca talking to you while in the Animus. But I love that you guys are doing Ezio! Personally, I feel like you're missing out on the atmosphere of the games and some of the "in-game" dialogue, but watching the cutscenes is still a great decision! I hope you guys continue to enjoy Ezio's journey😁
I suggest you watch the prequel Assassin's Creed Lineage it's a short 3 episode live action series that set the stage for AC2. I love Ezio's trilogy but I must say that the English voice acting is quite funny for an Italian.
I replayed Ezios trilogy recently, enhanced the graphics as much as i could thx to nvidia and mods, and i just cant believe how well AC2 holds up gameplay-wise. Its my favourite AC game, and still plays so good. Ezio is one of the best video game characters ever, and i cant wait for next part, hopefully a little bit longer? :)
Ah yes, the tale of the Auditores and the starting Legacy of Ezio. Stopped playing the Assassin games once Ezio story ends in full and the games (at least personally) start getting stale/same-y, but my god 2 was an experience. Getting nostalgic seeing these cutscenes and blocky polygons lol. Eventually I’m gonna buy it again. In steam and replay it. My 360 is hit or miss with the red ring of death (it’s weird I’ll get it but after a few time unplugging it from the outlet, it goes away) and I long $tupidly GameStop traded it in when I was younger lol. NEVER do that if you’re ever thinking or if it’s even still a thing. Barely get anything back for them and that’s classics gone.
Yeah used to trade in to GameStop. It was fine at one point to buy a game and bring it back within a week so I would beat the games and bring them back. I imagine a lot of people did that because they stopped doing that deal haha 🤗
I can say that I am so hype for this “Ezio’s Journey” as his journey was the most amazing and impactful journey that spark all Assassin’s Creed games to have “Ezio’s Family” track as the go to song for every theme for assassins to follow. I highly recommend you check out the different versions of “Ezio’s Family” as they carry some atmospheric elements in the era of each game it brings. 😄 Also fun fact about Leonardo Da Vinci, he is the first openly gay character in Assassin’s Creed games that spark wow in history to follow and witness his character more in his inventions, arts and more throughout this game setting till Brotherhood have him more as a person of interest.
Also funfact: Many people ignore that and it is debatable because of lack of information thou, but he was in love with a teen wen he was in his late 30s or 40's ... different times i guess.

If you are just interested in Ezio, all's good. However, the meta-narrative of Desmond Miles starts with AC1 and continues through AC3. If you want the whole story, I suggest you start there.
I was hoping they showed his sister who gets cheated on which by the way you beat up the guy as well and little brother mission where you collect eagle feathers for him
There’s a youtuber named Andy Gilleand who made movie versions of all the Assassin’s Creed games and makes for a good viewer experience of the game. If you do more like these, using his videos as what you watch isn’t a bad idea.
Ah still one of the best AC Games ...the level of qualitiy and dedecation in compare to the modern games...Oof. Beyond imagination. And Ezio is still a good man. Although I still think that this game series never needed a story in the "present"... without Animus. So it would be just a historian based action rpg with stealth elements. Or for 2017..when the series celebrated its 10th anniversary. Anniversary... that would have been a twist if they had come up with the story of the Animus.
Okay so, to make it clear. Even though the early Assassins Creed are advertised as some sort of stealth games, they are definitely not that...I mean the early games dont even have a sneak mechanic. The Ezio Trilogy are easily the best games in the series, story heavy, enjoable and unlike the recent games, they are very straight forward - Think more corridor than open world, unlike the recent games they arent heavy on side-content and pointless stuff
They are stealth games to me. You know, social stealth. The thing is, Mirage tries to promote stealth with a weak combat experience, but in the older games, you were a killing machine, both in stealth and in combat
@@franciscomartinlopez6916 The games do nothing related to stealth besides "hide in a haystack or on a bench to escape your pursuers" and the occassional trailing an enemy having to hide behind a corner here and there..Theres no sneaking involved, no proper strategizing. An ape could do it.

She isn't actually missing a finger. She just folds it over as a sign that she is an assassin.
