I used to watch these things daily, but I haven’t watched a Dread speed run in over a year. I’m so lost right now. The last new thing I saw was A.S.S., so this run is the most broken shit I’ve seen in a hot minute.
I haven't watched a Dread speedrun in a while, can someone explain what happened at 21:03 ? He saves the game, loads a previous save that has some late game upgrades, does something with the speed booster which involves activating a shinespark then cancelling it with a melee counter, then reloads his original save to continue the game. I assume that activates some kind of glitch?
There is a glitch called bomuhey skew that let’s you skew pretty much everywhere. That speedbooster sequence he did is how you activate that skew. It carries over to your other saves so you don’t have to do that speedbooster sequence again.

After getting bomuhey skew, this state allows you to clip different angles of samus which is used later the run
