Magdalene Kalembe is dead

The political landscape in Makueni County has been dealt a blow with the sudden demise of Magdalene Kalembe after short illness, a nominated Member of the County Assembly of Makueni. Magdalene who was the widow of former Kibwezi Member of Parliament Kalembe Ndile passed away on Thursday morning at MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi where she had been undergoing treatment. According to the family, Magdalene fell ill towards the end of last week and was hospitalized. The late Magdalene, is survived by 10 children and 14 grandchildren.
