    Great buy brother. That is the definition of the “Rolls Royce” table saw. Keep building your amazing collection.

    Also. There is a push stick that comes with your table saw. (Its right there on the cross cut Fence). I didnt look for it. But then i found it as i was putting the Festool table saw away (the cover).

    Nice video it looks like the saw is not seated on the table properly that could be why it was catching the out feed

      Your right I saw it after the fact. Thanks for taking time to check out the video.

    Have you checked the angle of the slider with the table? I got mine today and it's not level. Off by about a degree and changing the height of the slider doesn't fix it. I'd need to put about a dozen sheets of paper on the far edge to get it aligned to the main table. I'll have to call them but wondering if yours is level or if I just got a dud.

    • @daddysharespace
      @daddysharespace  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just checked mine. Facing the front of the saw mine can pass 4 sheets of paper which is about 0.016 of an inch or o.04064 of a mm at the front left corner. The rest if the table and slider is good. I have not tried to adjust it yet. Apparently, you would want your tool to be accurate to 1/64 with is 0.0156. I am at 0.016 which is 2/125. I still have a few days to decide if it is accurate enough for me as I am not a professional.
      I would definitely reach out to Festool or whoever you purchased it from as it is an expensive tool. And you should be satisfied with your purchase.

    Awesome video! Good details. How long are the batteries generally lasting? Just ordered mine today.

      @@daddysharespace my purchase is based on buying 2 spare batteries. However if it makes a reasonable amount of time on the pair that come with the saw that will be a bonus. It only hurts because this is my first festool cordless purchase. Would have preferred it corded..... It is the overall compact size and claimed accuracy that sold the saw. Good luck with yours!

    • @daddysharespace
      @daddysharespace  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks and good luck with your purchase as well. A corded
      Option would have been nice. A hybrid model would have been amazing.

    This saw looks great. If it had SawStop technology I’d buy one in a minute. Happy to pay more even. Why did Festool bother to buy SawStop if they won’t use the tech?

    • @daddysharespace
      @daddysharespace  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I believe that Festool implemented Saw Stop tech into one of their saws in the European market.
      The Saw Stop technology, to my knowledge, requires a mains ground which is not present on battery-powered tools.

    I think the saw is not properly seated on the table, maybe if you re level the table, maybe that could solve the catch feed issue.

      @@daddysharespace did that adjustment solve the problem for you?

    • @daddysharespace
      @daddysharespace  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. The Festool strap got in the way. I did not remove it as I was seating the saw. I was thinking to myself surely you do not need to remove the strap every time. It just require a little more manipulation.

    HARD pass on a non-AC/DC Powertool . I love the theory of the battery. but the lifespan of a battery SYS VAC & Table Saw Together absolutely fails with out the option of a plug-in . EVEN just an OPTIONAL PLUG-In would have been nice.
    But thank you for your purchase and sacrifice.

    • @daddysharespace
      @daddysharespace  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I definitely understand your perspective on the topic. It is valid.
      I have similar feelings about certain products.
      Battery powered tools are more expensive no matter how you look at it.
      The convenience of battery powered tools is tied to the use case.
      Thanks for checking out the video.
      I appreciate it.

    order yours while supplies last. Not legal in all 50 states. Actually it’s just California…they think you will snort the dust and get cancer.

    • @daddysharespace
      @daddysharespace  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I ripped the tip of one of my fingers off while working on a car back in high school, so I no longer qualify as a hand model. I like to keep the focus on the tool rather than on myself as much as possible.

    • @Kri5Prolls
      @Kri5Prolls 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Using gloves with rotary machines is the best way, not to cut the tip, no just the finger, but to have the whole hand (and more) through the machine. Gloves is a no-no when it comes to security and rotary machines, number one on the list of what equipment NOT to wear. keep safe
