check out Dani's grapple gun tutorial, it is very similar to this one
you REALLY gotta learn to do this stuff by yourself without depending on somebody making a tutorial abt it

Have you put the wall on the ground layer?
if you dont put it. it will just stuck. put the Ground Physics to wall too

try putting your capsule abit higher or change the colision settings on the ground

You should add that ledge climbing that dani added in one of the last dev logs
he's using dani's script and ripping off his tutorial (on his channel) one for one, he probably doesnt even know how to code.
He actually does, look at his ther videos. Also dani's tutorial did not have wallrunning, and of course his code is similar to danis when its replicating the same movement. @@konigaminggr
yo why do i keep getting an error saying transform doesnt exist?? its an error in line 8 from the cameramoving.cs
it is not working properly the inputs are reversed for me
i'm gonna keep it real with you and any people considering downloading this, the codebase is absolutely unmanageable. movement looks really cool in the video, but in reality, the sliding is broken, wallrunning is broken, and you have to change project settings for no good reason. looks cool, does not feel cool implementing it

my player movement is not working please help me fix it
I have no idea why, but after messing around with locking the FPS of my game, the wallrunning is no longer working and the player simply gets stuck on the wall-running walls without being able to move

if you are still here, do you know how to allow movement i can only jump not press wasd and that only scales up not forward
Maybe check if everything is setup correctly in the input manager?

Hey! Quick question how can you add a camera offset whenever you hit the floor the camera moves down and up
HI ! use animation, it's the simplest way
@@strompy2007 nope, the simplest would be to get the player y velocity when hitting the ground and applying a clamped version of it to the camera's y position then smoothly lerping back to the original pos.

Just a tip that will help you going forward: when you report an issue, never just say "it freaks out", or "it doesn't work", explain the error you're getting, or the bug. Otherwise, how is anyone supposed to help you?
The movement works but the camera is so far away from the player its literally a broken third person game please help me.

You probably accidentally added an extra “n” somewhere in your script

Have you added the ground layer and physics material to the object?
try replacing your wallRunnable walls with the layer "wall" by the layer "ground" and the "what is runnable" parameter (in the script) also into "ground"

Technically you could BUT the Rigidbody uses Unity's Physics blah blah blah and already has the base down for it but with character controllers you would have to define your own Physics for it etc so it'd be a whole lot harder but you could

@@LHGames24 I added the script and assigned player cam, orientation, Rb, what is ground and what is wallrunnable, but still the wallrunning doesn't work
