A quiet morning is interupted with the sounds of an electric snow blower. Not nearly as loud, and annoying as a gas blower, however! Comment how you feel about going electric.
I never thought I would watch someone run a snowblower for 30 minutes but poof there it is. Intriguing to think how much more or less time and effort it takes than shoveling. It had to make clearing the plow pile much easier.
That show plow coming by just as you finish, was funny as hell?. lol lol. But that is what they do do the best. I think this video should be tagged to all of the other videos who claim the EGO has a designs problems, and how to do a proper job show blowing ones property? Three passes of the snow truck while you were working? lol lol I thin k you maybe were not waving at him, but giving him the flying award, it was to dark to be sure? lol lol. Maybe someone put a kettle for you, after you put things away? Great Job!
Same experience. I have the 24" with 4 10AH batteries and actually enjoy using it especially compared to my 30 inch 9 HP Ariens. The Ego outperforms the Ariens in every aspect except for requiring a few more passes due to being 6 inches narrower. The Ego has many benefits with the ability to independently control auger and drive speed and do both on the run. The Ego tracks better than the Ariens and throws the wet heavy stuff further if I need it to. Not going to miss storing stabilized fuel I may or may not use and annual oil changes. The Ego is considerably lighter than the Ariens which makes handling a lot easier. Time will tell if it's a durable as the Ariens. I have the Ego 765 cfm blower and also picked up the power snow shovel and bristle brush with the multi-tool head. Both are very useful tools that surprised me in their performance. Only drawback is the weight but the accessory strap (separate purchase) has pretty much solved that concern. Like you I dare say I actually enjoy blowing snow where I dreaded doing so with the Ariens and that's why I made the switch.
I always enjoy peoples comments that have had other blowers in the past and how they compare. Thanks for watching and be sure to check out some of the other videos I have of ego products.
It kinda sounds like kitchen aide mixer! Its isn’t the motor, it is the auger. Like my EGO mower [check out that video] it sounds like a giant fan. Well, that blade pretty much is a big fan!

The EGO had seriously changed my outlook on moving snow. Dare I say I enjoy it?

HAHAHAHA! You are right. Those plows were out to get me! I have been loving the EGO. No complaints from this loyal fan.

I have an electric car, and I love it because it is almost totally silent, but this electric snowblower is more annoying sounding than gas!
