The sit fit mode was made for people with limited ability like me who are in a wheelchair, not "lazy" people. I usually like your reviews but I didn't really like your attitude in this one.
Yeah I'm gonna echo the others here: the seated mode is *CLEARLY* for accessibility, and it's honestly weird that you guys missed that. It doesn't seem like a big deal to most, but those of us who are actually in need of such tools are very appreciative. Also 4:40 this would've been great discreet commentary lmao
As a disabled person, I can't stand and exercise all the time. I quite like the seated mode, it gives you an option on those really bad days to still exercise
@@lunams7I had ACL surgery almost ten years ago. Hang in there man and don’t over do it! Don’t be afraid to take your time and look at resistance band workouts as well. Took me a little over a year to run comfortably again. Now, I forget I ever had the surgery
Yeah I bought the game and noticed the seated mode it just instantly made me think of my Grandma and how she'd watch and do seated fitness videos. Seated Exercise has been a think since like the 70's dude
As someone with arthritis which makes walking and standing quite painful during flare-ups who'd like to become more active, the sit fit mode is quite appealing. I'm not going to attack the creators of this video for not recognising this but when I saw that was an option I was genuinely intrigued
I wish Imagineer would stop wasting their budget on licensed music and put more effort into their original music. Their original tunes are so much better.
Honestly the sit fit part is funny but it's obvious that the reviewer missed the point that it is for accessibility. Sadly an oversight in what he thought was a jackpot to jab at lazy people ☠️☠️☠️
The seated mode is an accessibility mode for those with limited mobility. Why are you making it seem like it's for lazy people? This rubbed me the wrong way definitely
These games have no story. Go for it. The Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star might be different though but this series, nah. 2nd didn't have pad mode or anything. Was more a game of getting enough tickets to outfit your trainer.
Ya I didn't play the first two and jumped in pretty quick. I like the mechanics though my remote at times doesn't like it and the characters are mostly relatable (but I switched from Lin to a different trainer very quickly once I bought the full game. Sorry Lin.)
@@mweeeeThey're not supposed to be fun really they're just light workouts. Granted there are better forms of exercise but it's at least cheaper than a gym or pool membership.
@@mweeee Not saying I disagree I'm just saying I don't think these games are meant to be as ambitious, and some people might not want the whole adventure thing. Older folk probably just want this.
@RickyG93 And not just old folks. I have Ring Fit but at times I need something quieter and quick to exercise with and to get me moving. I like the option to go light, regular, or heavy.
It’s okay yall, Zion praised the mode and explained it how the game explains it. He even praised the game mode. He even says “those who struggle with standing exercise” which would include disabilities That being said I could see this game being cool for someone who has trouble being on their feet, but still has a game that encourages physical activity they could potentially enjoy. That is a really cool set up. You have to give Zion credit for actually covering the mode too… otherwise I wouldn’t have known it was a thing
I downloaded the demo after this review and bot it. I love boxing, used to take really intense boxing classes but I don’t have the time or physical ability to handle that right now. Plus my kids are loving the game too.
From my experience both are good. 3 is smoother and the drill mitt is fun. Hatsune Miku does have a dlc to make your own excercise (with limitations) and some of the Miku songs from other game. Also limited dress options. For better gameplay overall go for 3. For Miku songs and unusually experience go for Miku. I think they both should have demos
I really wish they do not abandon oversea release like they did with 2nd game. Japan got their version keep getting new song even in 2024... we got like two sets of DLC and basically told to f off. I really hope they keep update music lineup over time.
This is such a disappointment that you decided to dismiss accessibility for exergaming by labelling it as a feature for “lazy” people. Shameful, you can’t and should do better.
this was an awful review. first time watching a video of nintendo life and what a bad taste of mouth. what a gross and narrow minded comment in regards of the sit mode. horribly privileged. never watching again
Wow. Do you hate the people watching your videos? Putting down people with mobility issues? Judging people for which trainer they choose? We're supposed to listen to the opinion of someone who can't even pronounce hyperbole?
Yep, signed up for game pass yesterday and didn’t have to buy any hardware. Sync’s my PS5 controller to my MacBook and will be playing Indiana Jones on Monday for a total cost of $20
The seated mode I feel was aimed to people with reduced mobility
The sit fit mode was made for people with limited ability like me who are in a wheelchair, not "lazy" people. I usually like your reviews but I didn't really like your attitude in this one.
Yeah, the tone of the review sounded almost disdainful, especially around the sit fit mode. Weird to hear that around an obvious accessibility mode.
Agreed 💯!
Lazy
Came to the comments to voice this. The attitude really didn’t sit well with me. Tone deaf!
@@MissMasamicchiagreed seemed so judgmental to hear him talk like that

Unfortunately really not a fan of the tone this video with the seated mode which is VERY obviously for people with disabilities or mobility issues.
Ya I thought this mode is perfect because I just had knee surgery but would still like to stay active till I can use my legs again

Huge L on this one guys. Accessibility is super important and you kind of made a joke about it here.

I played Fitness Boxing 2. Helped me a lot during the pandemic. might give this one a shot.
I wish Imagineer would stop wasting their budget on licensed music and put more effort into their original music. Their original tunes are so much better.
Right, they can also put Medabots music, I wonder why they don't.
Referring to people using sit fit as “couch potatoes” is incredibly ableist.
Oh come on, you're better than this. I usually really enjoy your reviews but the sit fit boxing mode is clearly not for 'couch potatoes'.
He didnt just say that listen he said it was for people with disablilities bassicly. Stopbeing woke af
The developer is syn Sophia and not Imagineer. Its even written on title screen. Dev of recent Fashion Dreamer.
You guys should've taken the game for a test drive on cam.
I’m a big fan of the Hatsune Miku Fitness Boxing, so I think this one might be fun, too.
Honestly the sit fit part is funny but it's obvious that the reviewer missed the point that it is for accessibility. Sadly an oversight in what he thought was a jackpot to jab at lazy people ☠️☠️☠️
What's the framerate like? 1 drops frames on all but the most basic of the backgrounds and 2 suffers slowdown when the effects kick in.
The seated mode is an accessibility mode for those with limited mobility. Why are you making it seem like it's for lazy people? This rubbed me the wrong way definitely
2:20 more like wheelchair mode
Hahaha
Do i need to play fitness boxing 1 and 2 before this or can i just jump in without

Why say especially when it's just because of that alone?
Need ring fit 2. It has so much personality compared to these static fitness games.
I agree, every Fitness Game besides Ring Fit looks so boring
@@mweeeeThey're not supposed to be fun really they're just light workouts. Granted there are better forms of exercise but it's at least cheaper than a gym or pool membership.
@RickyG93 yet, Ring Fit manages to be both fun and a better workout than most of these other games

Judging from the demo this one is far more precise and smooth than 2. Definitely an improvement
I curious about joy con survivability rate with this games.

Intensity is up to the user. If you punch faster and harder, you’ll get a more challenging workout.

The sit fit boxing review part was terrible. Instant dislike and you should edit and repost this video to hide your idiocy.

Yeah sorry as someone with limited lower body mobility the idea that the sit fit was for "lazy" folks... Not great Nintendo Life
