  • What Broke on the DIY Tenere 700 FZ-07 MT-07 thing? I'm really liking the name MT-erere 700. Anyways what broke on the adventure motorcycle? Well a few things did. Hey it's basically an experimental motorcycle at this point. I'll go over the issues and try to fix them along that way.

      of course they fixed it and send a replacement...no company wants to deal with someone dying from their product...
      Props to them for dealing with it so fast though. I saw it coming from when he first putted in, too many wholes and very thin material for such "abuse" riding.
      I hope the company invests a bit more in material simulations, and thats the reason Iam affraid buying after market parts (even levers).

    In the future rust oleum makes a clear spray paint, if you used that, it would block from rust and keep your original color everywhere else.

      @Liberty4Ever 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Spray Rustoleum blue into the rattle can cap, use a Q tip to daub the blue paint over the bare metal, let it dry, then spray clear coat over the entire exposed part to even out the surface finish.

    I have now watched all the episodes of the adventure MT-07 and a got to say that you have made a really good job! And such good companies that you have worked with! 🤩👌🏼 It’s been really interesting to follow this since I own a MT-07 myself but I’m not even near the same mechanic experience that you have so I will stick to my street bike and just do some mild adventuring😅 but will definitely try out a adventure bike in the future ☺️👍🏼 More MT-07 modifications on TH-cam! 😍🙏🏼

    I'm not sure what's so special about a MT-07 but you already have (I'm sure you know) one of the worlds best adventure bikes, sitting behind it. You just went a different route with it. Personally, I would've built another XR650R but that's just me. Regardless, it's a cool build and was entertaining to watch.

    i seen the links to fail, the worst one i saw was on a fully custom air suspension hayabusa destroyed its entire tail section as the link fell apart when customer ran over a pothole. almost totaled the bike it took a lot of work with insurance to fix it and customer dropped a lot of money to rebuild his custom tail and suspension to get the bike up and running. props for the company to back their product to this level, that looks like a huge improvement.

    Glad you got it all fixed mates it looks pretty awesome. I still highly recommend that you get a 19 inch front wheel, slightly narrower than your current wheel. I have a fat 17 rear and 19 front on my heavily modified Kawasaki D tracker 350 cc. I have also run the 17 in front and a 21in front. The 19 front is a game changer. It is amazing on the road with amazing handling and it is so much better than the 17 off road. I cannot recommend this combo; 17 rear and 19 front, it will transform your bike totally

    To decrease the dry time of a K&N filter after cleaning, prop up a box fan with fan blowing up. Turn the fan on its lowest setting then place the filter on the fan. Usually will dry in 2 hours or so without damaging the filter.
