Boss 505 is a good loop station. Dub FX started looping in the early 2000s. The song "soothe your pain". Also Trent Reznor in the 90s had one of the earliest loop stations. One man show. He didnt sound good with a band. Hope Justin checks out the Boss Loop Station. 👍
His music is beautifully and skillfully rendered, and presented. But I've given up grading musicians, and no longer have any "best of the best" affiliations in my mind. As long as I enjoy the music, and it causes me to experience a definite emotional reaction, then I simply believe it is excellent.

Fabulous piece Justin! I have always (since 72-3) loved this song. So I'll tell you a story. There was a South African Combo of Johnny Clegg and Sipho Mchunu called JULUKA. An Afro/Euro fusion genre well worth listening to! I met and got to know them, but more so Sipho as I was born in SA and speak IsiZulu. I wen't down to see him at his rural home way down in the Tugela River valley and spent the weekend. Happened to have brought along the Rumours CD and put it on for Sipho to listen to. He is a man who never spent a day in school and knew nothing of Fleetwoodmac and very little about American black music either. This song .. 'The Chain' absolutely captivated him - he got me to replay it about five times! Then got out his old Ibanez and jammed it. Brings back great memories. xx
I grew up with guitar music. Used to listen every day my father playing. I have no siblings but if I hear a guitar playing it's like a brothers voice. I can't play it, well I never tried. I always was satisfied when I just heard a guitar. And I still am. It's like coming home to the good old days.

You are able to apply your own musical talent and perform with your own 'sound' while still staying true to the song. No matter how good a musician anybody is, when you cover the songs of another you are drawing on the very best ideas that the very best musicians have ever had.

Awesome rendition of one of Fleetwood Mac's best ever songs. And speaking of the Mac, have you thought of doing a cover of their song "Hypnotized"? I always loved that song, and that era of Fleetwood Mac has been somewhat glossed over due to the really big selling albums they did later on. So it would be pretty nice to see what you could do with it.
