"Caus I slamed the driver into my thumb... that's cool" OMG died laughing LMFAO🤣, because how many times have I done exactly that LOL / You gaines a subscriber
Looks really good! I’m going to have to make something similar, I’d probably have to anchor it to the ground or atleast attach it to the generator somehow so it doesn’t blow away in this crazy Wyoming wind.
Thanks Katie. This video is EXACTLY what I needed to see today. I love your DIY logic - easy for a guy like me to follow! A perfect shelter for my generator cover. EXCELLENT!
Hey you are too funny. You did a great job. I do small projects with wood too. Often with scraps of wood. After years of watching my dad and tv shows I have a good idea how things "should" work. LOL. You did a great job. All your ideas were right. To cut the plastic it's really up to you how to do it. Just need the right kind of blade. The screws you used on the plastic is called self tapping screws. The point in the screws helps to get it started and pulls it's self into the material.
I love your videos, I feel like I get to know you, your personality, and humor better each time. Love the doggies. Question..... is Montana your middle name or a nick name?
@@KatieMontana1 ever since the show “Yellowstone” Bill and I are on a mission to see Montana and specifically the ranch where they film. You can actually stay in a cabin on the set but there’s like a 2 year wait list. Lol
Nice job! Does your rv air conditioner start and run with that generator? I have a 2300 watt Yamaha and the 15k a/c struggles a little on the initial start... Thinking about one of those "soft start" units to put on the a/c so the generator doesn't overload...
@@KatieMontana1 Cool! I shoulda went bigger on my gen, but wanted something light and "small" enough to get in the pickup myself. (great racing this past weekend, btw...)
miter saw not table saw. Pretty decent job, my only critique would be it should be wider and longer and maybe a hair taller because rain rarely falls straight down, and making it so tight a fit you will still get a lot of blown rain soaking the generator risking electrical damage and the very slim possibility of a cracked engine block from cold rain water hitting a hot engine ( not the most likely event, but still possible ).

You are giving me the courage to do this. I am a 76 year old woman. Wish me luck.
Oh yay! You can do or Cheryl! Let me know how it goes!

Thank you so much!
Nicely done!!I give a lot of credit for actually completing a well thought out project!!
Thank you!!!
If it rains it's going to get wet from the ground you needed to make a platform so we can set on off the ground. And then put wheels on it.
Great Job @Katie Montana! Everything you did was as close as anyone could do as well! Keep up the great job you are doing! ✌
Thank you so much!

I turn the skill saw blade around backwards for plastic and fiber panels, its not a right or wrong way....if it works it works.
Love it! Really real and funny
You are doing a great job keep it up you will get it ( Nice )

This Ohio boy likes it tight on the sides. Simple but effective have you had to use it in the rain?
I have. It works for light rain, but not if it's windy and pouring
Nice job!

Flip blade around cut like butter
I think the circular saw will work fine if you use a fine tooth blade and possibly cut multiple sheets at the same time.
