Simon | Don't Let Me Go

Simon was willing to go the ends of the earth for Jesus, he had no doubt that Jesus was the Messiah and the Son of God (nothing was going to convince him otherwise), yet why does Jesus heal and help total strangers while he and his family has to suffer. Jesus could have prevented the death of Simon's unborn child, prevented the near-death of his wife Eden, yet he didn't. And as Jesus walked on water towards him, Simon commanded Jesus to let him prove to him just how much he had faith and respect for Jesus by walking out there to him. So Simon walked, and as Jesus explained why he allowed trials, Simon took his eyes off Jesus, and sank like a rock. Jesus saved Simon from drowning, and held him close, telling Simon that he had much planned for him still. Simon cried like a baby in the arms of his Savior, and begged Jesus to never let him go.
