    There were 10,000 people who came to see them at the Opera House alone. They were hugely more popular than a lot of the news outlets and this news piece allows.

    As a dual British, Australian citizen, I felt compelled to come out in support for King Charles. The Queen shook my hand at the Sydney Opera House, and I captured a wonderful close up of The King at The Church. NO The Republican’s don’t have it from here, they have NO model, NO plan and NO message. God Save The King. 🇦🇺👑🇬🇧

      As Australians we should support the monarch of Australia. However what happens when the monarch does not support Australia. I watched old charlie’s speech on the parlview website, he did not even know The Australian National Anthem, his lips never moved once when it was sung. How can he support our country if he could not do the basic thing as to learn The National Anthem.

      I came here as a 4½ year old boy from Leicester UK to Newcastle NSW. I was never naturalised & never went back for a holiday. You left there as well. All he's done properly in life is not be a miscarriage by the Queen on his birth. His wealth & life destiny was then ensured that day in the Hospital. Nothing more. End of!

    It’s also outrageous the way this video has been portrayed. Over 10,000 people gathered at the Opera House, I was one of them. There was one drunk aboriginal man shouting outside for a minute and was moved on. Why is that a focus of this video? It’s almost like the media want there to be a problem.

    • @Elise2010able
      @Elise2010able หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh yes, they sure do want there to be a problem, they want Australians to be miserable and anti everything and divided like no other country on earth. They would love to use Australians as an example of how bad it is to have a Constitutional Monarch!!
      Well done, to all my fellow Aussies for voting with our feet and showing the world the truth, just by us all turning up. 10s of thousands all lining the harbour, you could see everyone all along every vantage point. It was perfect... Not a divided country at all.. Some things that we are working on and dealing with. Yes, we have the odd screaming insane aboriginal person, as everyone can see.. Who does not accept people as Australian unless you are aboriginal!!
      We don't say we are perfect, but we sure have it going in the right direction.
      Which is more than can be said for many other countries around this world, who just so happen to have A President as their head of state!!! a few come to mind...

      I totally agree, trust the press to find a negative. It took from the thousands of respectable people who came to see them. I'm f........ fed up with hearing what has been done to the the first Australians, look at what they did to the convicts, their own kind. • @Elise2010able
    @Elise2010able หลายเดือนก่อน +7

    All Australians own Australia... !!!
    It is Not just owned by one section of the population..
    Australia is ONE country!
    Republic is a big lie. We have been independent since 1901. Australians have been Governing Australia independently since 1901. Which our forefathers all voted to have in place, they voted in their millions for the constitution we have in place still to this day!! So the Republic nonsense about us running ourselves, is something we already have had in place for over a hundred years. Might I add it has been a great success and continues to evolve... We do not need to change anything, for a few peoples ego driven power ploy gets satisfied.. God help us, to end up with a all powerful President.. Could you imagine what a person like Lydia would do to this country if they had all the power??? My god what a catastrophy it would be!!.. It doesn't even bare thinking about!!
    The Land belongs to no one. As my aboriginal friends always told me as I was growing up, no one owns the land, the land owns the people. All the people that call her home. So that is that. !!
    So please ITV, do get it right, and keep in mind that a lot of what the aboriginal descendants are trying to make people believe these days, is not completely true. It has true feelings expressed in their new story of a past that all Australians have their own story about too.. And we too are still alive and remember all our lives and what we experienced and know!!
    Not to mention our ancestors experience ( which a lot of was not pleasant) Can those born of convicts not be listened to as well... The convicts were the ones that created what we know as 'Turn your back'.. That was Convict body language, The Walkabout ? again 'Australian English' to describe when someone has gone somewhere, but that they will return!! All these sorts of things were taught to The Aboriginals...
    What did the aboriginals teach the colonial's? They taught about bush tucker ( eventually) and other things like where the sicklands where and how to find water.. They didn't have much or any cloths most of the time and they didn't all get along either, one Mob ( again English word not aboriginal) would not get along with a different mob. They could not marry into any other mob unless it was an approved mob, by whichever mobs elders.. So in fact they had arranged marriages of a sort!!
    So lots of stories have been told, lots of stories are very new, and there is little to no proof of any of them on record. Because they did not keep records, other than story telling and cave paintings. So cave paintings are the only document proof about anything and there isn't much of that either..

    It will be when William becomes King, that the issue of an Australian Republic will become a thing. King Charles the Third's rule is not expected to be a long one, certainly not as long as his mother, the Late Queen Elizabeth the Second of Blessed and Gracious Memory. William's reign might well be longer than his father's and thus Australia as a republic will be a live question.
