- Goku would again fail to defeat Beerus as part of his training - though not without showcasing intense strength and resolve. After, the Grand Priest would call all Angels to brief them on the developing situation. Android 17’s with not only resurrected the Universe’s erased during the Tournament of Power, but also 7 which had been disposed of previously - giving us 19 realms in total. Most mysterious, Universe Zero.. Returning to face The Grand Priest is a mysterious stranger, who claims her opposite is nothing more than a fraud. At the Same time.. Against his better judgement, Whis allows Goku to explore Universe Zero to see what he can discover.

@@fatpurp4041 they moved it to monthly for super, toyotaros art and especially background art is really good. But his character drawing and story telling is no where near this guy's level. I wish Toie would hire this guy, even toyotsro started as a fan manga artist before being officially hired
the style wont really change that much if they hire this guy bc you have to replicate the iconic style of dragonballZ if you want to get hired, so the only difference it would make is that the artist is more skilled and the paneling and art would slightly change bc he is different artist.
Honestly most of these designs look like typical edgy fan fiction db villains and in a bad way. There's a stark difference in the ones that were created by Toriyama and the ones made by the author. There's also a conflicting art style amongst the characters.
This is so fucking good. Imagine if DB had this kind of storytelling. So powerful.

Towards the end frieza was foddered and goku and vegeta were many times stronger than frieza in blue.. That weak ass god was weaker than fused zamasu fr. XD

Sadly this fan manga was released in 2018, and has since been discontinued. I'm not sure if they continued it later sometime this year, or this is another iteration of the story.

This is way better than Toyota and their storyboard can currently do. I enjoyed the Glactuc Prisoner Arc and the Cerealiens, but this is truly divine.

No kidding, I watched some of unrealants stuff, he has one voice for all the Sayians and a clear bias for Vegeta.
He's been in the game longer and releases way more content, including some original work here and there. CallmeARJ does mostly OG fanmangas nowadays and it seems to be very popular as well for that reason, even though his voice is grating to my ears. That said, Mondo's on a very positive trajectory.
When I started watching Mondo around 2 years ago, he had less than 100k subs, he's doing pretty well for himself. I like his voice the most of all three by far, he sounds quite professional at times. It would be badass if he were to narrate the Merno storyline, which is my favourite fanmanga by far and probably one of the reasons why UnrealEnt is doing so well. But it's very time-consuming to put out videos almost daily, and I think Mondo has a job outside youtube so it's hard for him to make do with that.

You know what's weird? Back when the evil Angels theory had surfaced during the T.O.P, I had this small image of Goku being imprisoned by the Gods for no specific reason, I just thought it was a cool visual and idea I had in my head.

this story has more depth, mystery, and excitement to it than DBS. And the art is on a whole other level. Definitely my favorite series. I love how this story gives us more on the Gods and angels and doesn't vier away from them, because there is so much we still don't know about them. thank you DB Kakumei

At this point trying to make a story like this would come off as Akira copying and the fan artist feel they should get something in return…..there are multiple stories out about the erased universes return. If Akira might’ve had the idea any chance for it now would be too late for him to do

Before battle of Gods before Super was even a known thought fan stories were all about Ssj4 and Goku absorbing the dragon balls, Ssj5 and any transformation continuing the Ssj count….and what Akira do? Go far left from anything people were thinking about Ultra Instinct, Destruction and etc now folks following up on that shrinking the possibility for anything close to being told like this.

The official Dragonball series can't make characters like this anymore. You'll only see noodle armed, small legged, uneven bodied, cartoonish, skinny, strange, silly, soft, wimpy, weak looking characters. That or just basic.

FYI, the artist has been drawing berserk fan art for a few years now, which is why the artwork for this manga is so similar to berserk. I personally think its fitting since berserk just ended, and now we see the legacy of his influence.

I absolutely love the design choice of giving 2 of the angels black hair giving them like a fallen angel type of vibe. Especially Twist with half white half black hair style. I for one think it signifies like them losing a some of their angel abilities or maybe even gives them access to whole new ones
