Hello, First of all thank you for the detailed video! I am between buying this printer or even the newer verson from Yilong ATS886-RTP and the Brother Bluetooth version. You have mentioned in the video that you have used the Brother for several years now. The Brother is of course more expensive and well known in the industry. Do you think it is still worth buying Brother now in 2024, even though the quality in more less the same with other budget printers like Ozer or ATS886-RTP? What is the difference with Brother and ATS886 in quality? Sorry for the long question and thank you!
In my opinion Brother could have better quality control and might last longer. I have my brother printers for 5 years now and I got them second hand. If budget is tight then I would go with China options
thanks for the great review ! I work for years with inkjet stencils without any problems only that I find it sometimes its a bit fast to dissapear (also sometimes too shard haha but stencils and reel and fake skin always are a bt of hard or too fast its always a surprise ) but overall very happy with it . First used the electrum version of ink but that one realy sucked in my opinion then went to inkjet in 3 years only had 1 time problem it wouldn't print anymore so had to clean it that made my tanks almost empty in one cleaning since then I only fill the black and white maybe a question on the side ( does it made it lighter if you only fill one tank in the past I took always the red colour for making stencil I heard it was darker . I could be realy possible I heard it on this channel back to the printer I love the printer and bought the official spirit paper on barber Des but it won't print or get stuck when use the print paper that came with it it works fine But I want the spirit paper because thats what I trust for now but it skips pieces of the design or make a mess and get stuck Mayb y smaller designs works fine I must test it but I want to use it for bigger or normal sizes (a4) Do you know if its a common issue with this printer ? because after 10 or more sheets its kinda frustrated and throwing away money very fast Or anyone else has a solution to this ? or experience with the other paper ? its the paper that came with the printer Sorry for the long message |best regards
Hello, do you know if there is any chance to use it as a thermocopier and not a printer since I’ve been wasting many carbonsheets figuring the size of the stencil
Thank you for providing the discount code, which I used on the official website. However, I had a very disappointing experience. It took over a week for my order to be shipped, and I was later informed that I had to pay customs duties. I contacted Yilong’s customer service with no resolution. I live in Canada, and the website claimed the item would be shipped from a local warehouse with delivery within 7 days, which was completely untrue. If you have a better way to reach out to them, I hope you can help escalate this issue. It feels like one of two things is happening: either (a) they know customers will have to pay customs duties but intentionally don’t inform them, leaving the customers to cover the cost, or (b) they’re usually evading taxes, and I was just unlucky to be charged. Either way, I don’t think this is the right way to handle things.
How come everyone who reviews this printer also has an affiliate link? I junst want to have a transparent expert opinion on thermal printers for tattoing :(
Welcome to Internet. Probably no-one have been excited to try this product because it's so new. You don't have to use affiliate link. And if you have a thing going then you are welcome to buy it and make most RAW review ever
Thanks alot ! Even tho id liked to have seen the final print quality on a spirit paper whether its really saturated or just a light transfered stencil. On those cheaper stencil papers they send its most of the time way too light for me personally to have a really long lasting stencil on the client. But i will try myself since this seems to be really good budget alternative to brother. Good review 👍👍
@@TattooShopTalk Tbh i think it could be a really helpfull video even for the future. I guess many people will search for that kind of stuff and actually theres no good video about it. Maybe puttin some of the stencils on human skin to compare would be a good filler to make it a full video.
Lion was the worst one. Others were simple designs so that wasn't issue at all. If you are interested in some specifics you can DM me on Instagram and we can look into it. If you are some TH-cam investigator and you think you came across some mad clue - then I'm happy for you
Hii... I also bought the printer but it pulls the paper to the back and then to the front...that's not normal, is it??? And what makes the Numbers of Black...is ist for the Background or changes the Black on the Stencil???
I'm not sure what you mean by pulling. It can stuck to itself if there are some areas too dark. If it's something glitchy then uninstall and reinstall app. Or maybe you are holding paper feed button for too long.

@@TattooShopTalk Thanks you for your honest opinion! I went on and bought Brother for endurance.
great choice@@AbdelrahmanHelmy-rf6gz
Can you explain slower and in detail which way you put the paper in?
What exactly is confusing you?

thanks, a good detailed review I like how you can adust placement of small designs so you waste less paper.
I really hate waste of stencil paper
10/10 review. I didn’t know you can print on smaller paper
I am cheap - I'm always looking to be resourceful

I am not sure which thermocopier you mean but I'm pretty sure the answer is no.
thanks for all the reviews!
Hey. Thanks for watching
Cleared up a couple of my questions! Thanks for the comparison to the Brother printer.
I'm glad it helped

That is not good
I found this same printer but with diferent brand, are they the same?! The brand I saw is biomaster
I have no idea what did you find but my guess would be that if not same then similar type of product
can the app turn a picture to a stencil? like can it make the outlines from a picture?
Depends on a picture. Download app and try if it works for you
can i use photoshop to make prints with ats886 printer or only the ats886 app???
Not directly from photoshop unfortunately
thank you@@TattooShopTalk
hi friend, really i dont understand this printer vs brother sory. which one good for tattooist?
I have no experience with Bluetooth printers from Brother. This one you print from app and has a built-in battery and its at 1/3 of price
do you recommend this thermal printer
I would recommend it or this type as a budget option. My favorites are big lamp thermo copiers but they are way more expensive
hi! any tips on paper jams?
Open it and get it out. If it happens often then you need to print lighter images
Hey sir what is the prize of this printer
149,99$-155,99$

Thanks for input. Since you are not first one mentioning it. I can make a video printing more stencils on different stencil papers

Why print but not show the results?
You only showed the lion not the other prints
For absolutely no reason
Is it because they came out bad?@@TattooShopTalk

Our machine doenst feed the paper and a lot of noice it is making
I would first check if lid properly closed. Otherwise - contact supplier.

i just bought this one after spending 1000 on the samsung one that dosent connect to apple.
Samsung and apple are never friends
👍
Thanks
That Printer sucks. I use it with photoshop and it print very dark, you need to go very very light in to get an ok Stencil.
Go light then
