Sir I have received post PV reissued passport under tatkal . I have changed my address in new passport. I have sold my house of old address in old passport ten years back. Policeman told me that my PV will be done at old address also. He asked me to come there when they will call you after one month. I have applied under tatkal, how can they delay. During my police verification the officer clicked picture of all the documents i showed him. Is this pprocess normal, why should he click pictures?
Just now I completed this process and police didn't click pictures . But I gave him photocopies with my original signatures 😅😅😅

My police verfication done on 28th Dec 2023, i have applied for reissue of my passport.. i have changed my address n sold out my old property.The document I provided are based on my current resident.. I dont have anything related to my parents neither I have Birth certificate nor Leaving Certificate. But I have submitted my all documets which are possible like Birth certificate, Leaving Certificate, Electtriciry bill adhar card, Pan card, Degree certificate and many more
Police said your passport will advesed because tou have not provided Parents details even though the house Inbought is on my name only

Hey! Thanks for information. But my parents doesn't have birth certificate, school leaving certificate and passport . How to proof them that my parents are indian citizen . And we are living in rental property . Uper se hmara permanent address nhi hai. Kya mai apne village ko permanent address dikha skti hu but mere pass village ke adress pr koi documents nhi h ..sare document current address ke hai and sirf papa ka resident proof hai village ka even mummy ka sirf purana voter id card hai...abhi hm sare rent pr rehte hai. One of my Friend recently applied for normal passport. He received email that you will receive call for police verification. If not received within 3 week then please contact the police station.
However he received the passport without any call from police station.

Usually for fresh passport all police station dont do address verification that can do done over calls too but yes document verification is mandatory he might get a call later on too

Not an issue, you have to apply for delayed birth certificate, go to BDO office and inquire about it, they would tell you the process.
