- 2024 Silverado 2500hd duramax. My new truck did not come with the factory roof lights like majority of the 2500’s. I ended up sourcing OEM Cab lights thru GM Parts Store . Com, for roughly $200 in parts.
.
If your in Phoenix Arizona Area shoot Brian an email and he will be happy to assist with install of yours.

Part numbers for install:
2x 84747496 Left & Right Small light
1x 84948214 Middle light
1x 84694118 Wiring Harness.
I had a shop in Mesa put the OEM lights on my 2024 3500 last summer. I was struggling to find a place that would do it. Didnt want to be cutting on my new truck. They do PPF there and had the templates. I thought it was worth it. One issue we ran into is the OEM harness was not grounded so the lights weren't working at first, we got the drawings for the truck and found it needed a ground.
What the fuck man ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ that’s what I was waiting to see was how he made the Square holes so perfectly square 🤯💨💨💨
Drilled a circle Hole & squared out with a Dremel. Finished with a metal hand file
@@CRTFD_G makes perfect sense, thank you very much for the reply
if it were my truck i would do something with all that chrome next.... good vid bro
The chrome is what makes it look good.
Makes it look like a man’s truck
That's awesome thank you....
Great job on bringing this to reality. I have a couple questions for you. Thanks!
1. I can assume on the light placement however, you mentioned a template for the placement. Can you share this information?
2. What size are the square holes? Did you just measure the narrowest portion as it seems to be a press in fit?
Google cab light install and look for the GM-Trucks forum there is a guy who posted template there. & the holes are 3/4”. I would recommend just drilling a hole and using dreml fo square out. Finish with metal file.
Thanks for the informative video. What did you use to cut those perfect square holes? Also, how did you get the correct location for the holes?
You can use the $200 3/8 Square hole punch. But we used a Dremel and finish with metal file
Super nice truck man! Thanks so much for the video the lights add a great touch to an already great truck!
I couldn’t help but notice that the parts you showed are different then the ones on your description, what is the difference?
Good catch, I’d have to rewatch the video but follow the part numbers in the description those are correct.
@@CRTFD_G I would think that the parts you showed on the vid are it but just wanted to make sure you know, thanks for your reply, this in my eyes is a must add-on.
What does he charge to do this?
Is there another way to contact him? I emailed and no response.
That’s how I contacted him. Not sure bro
Thanks for the video bro i been to so many dealerships, and they say it can't be installed. Im in southern California and dont mind the drive. How long was the installation?
They certainly can be installed! It’s about 2-3 hour install. First place I found to do the install was actually in socal, I found them on TH-cam as well. I think in his video he does it to a sierra tho
Do you know if the 2021 2500 HD is prewired also?
Yes they are all prewired you’ll just need the harness I provided part # for in description
It’s been 4 months. Did the lights ever start leaking? Has it been in the rain or through car washes? Just curious because I’m fixin to add lights to my 24, and I am a little nervous 😬
Your truck is nice!
My truck goes through car wash once a week, and rains occasionally out here. I was worried the first storm/wash w/ no issues. Use silicone on the hole too and you’ll be good to go
@@CRTFD_Gawesome. Thank you
Do you have another way to contact Brian? I emailed, but no response.
Hey mate I’m in Australia I’m after this same kit for my 2024 - what’s the best way to contact you?

I've got a 2024 LTZ 3500. You mentioned they are pre-wired. Will I need to run the harness down the pillar? I didn't see where you guys plugged the harness in at.
Thanks in advance and nice video.
Nope everything plugs in right above the headliner.
So your saying the truck is pre wired and there are existing connectors to plug into. Correct
Correct. All 2500HD are prewired underneath the driver side A pillar. You will need the harness to plug into the connection to the 3 individual cab lights
When I look up the parts, the website tells me that the middle light and the wiring harness dont fit my vehicle. Do you know why that is? I have a 2024 silverado 2500HD custom trim level.
It says it wouldn’t fit mine either when I used VIN Check on Gm Parts store. But 2020+ trucks are all the same. I confirmed w/ dealer.
Did you get a mounting template with the parts?
Parts and everything off a GM-parts website. Template is posted by someone on the GM-Trucks forum for 2020+
so just to be clear, i don’t need to buy a wiring harness right?
You do need wiring harness to plug all the lights in together. Part number is my description
I know this video is several months old, but how long did it take him to do the install start to finish?
2-3 hours
Yikes! It's off center by 2"....JK bud. Nice install!
Is the factory plug in the roofline to make this a plug and play install? No splicing or soldering? I have a 22 high country. Thank you!
Correct factory plug is in the Driver Side A pillar.
@@CRTFD_G Also, did the kit come with a template for where to cut the holes? Thanks for the info!!
@@WeGoOutdoors it does not come with a template. Google Silverado cab light install and look for the GM-Trucks forum there is a guy who posted template on there
@@CRTFD_G awesome thanks again. Did you use a dremel to cut holes or did you get that square 3/4” cutting die? Really wanna do this to my truck but just don’t want to mess up the locations or over cut.
@@WeGoOutdoors the 3/4” Square punch is like $300. We used a drill and squared out with dremel. Finished with metal to get it exact. Use some sealant around the hole and you’ll be good.
I’m not getting a response from Brian with the email you’ve provided.
I actually talked to him on Monday. He said he gets a lot of emails cuz this video. He will get back to you in due time I imagine
@@CRTFD_G I’m hoping he can install these same lights in a 2021 GMC ELEVATION 1500
@@andrewdr.vvaldez261 nope. Does not work in a 1500 pickup. You need a 2500HD or 3500HD
@@CRTFD_G this is why I’m trying to get ahold of him, to see if he even wants to approach this job. It can be done, but requires all new wiring harnesses. It’s a lot of work.
Has anyone been able to contact him? I sent him an email, and nothing, any other way to get a hold of him
Supreme Retroz in Mesa did a good job on mine. Kids name was Cody and he specializes in custom lighting. I ordered the parts from local dealer and he installed. His brother runs a PPF business out of the same shop and so they have the templates for cutting.
