Hi, I have a 3 pin connector that connects to the weight sensor. The third wire should be ground. Do I have to connect the resistor between the power cable and the output?
I would like to do this but also have an option to trick the sensor into thinking there is a child in the seat. Is it possible to have two resistors on for turning the airbags on and one off, while being able to switch between them.. i ask because my dog like to ride infront and it is not safe if airbags are on and he weighs 90lbs
I have the same issue on my 1998 156 V6. We also have issues to connect to the Airbag ECU. Lot of diagnostic devices cannot connect to the ECU. Without this connection I can not see or erase any codes. Can I use any Airbag ECU from a 1997-2001 Alfa Romeo 156 on mines? Because some electronics says that should not possible because the ECU should remapped?
Is it the same in all cars? I have a 2012 Nissan Rogue with the same problem but it is 3 pin and I don't know what resistor to put in, could someone help me?
@@arcgarage Well, which is it? I mean if it is only for someone at exactly 80kg, then you need to change the resistance for every new driver to be safe.
@@Goc67 The airbag module thinks that the seat is occupied at all times by an adult which weighs 80kg, not matter who sits, the airbag will deploy in case of an accident

same here did you get any solution??
Awesome video! Great info and walk thru sir. Thank you
You're welcome, thanks for watching
Hi, I don't know if it's a similar process, but could you do a video on how to replace the heated seat pads on a 159?
Will try to cover it, but it probably involves the seat disassembly
Thanks had the same Problem too!
By the way, what scanningtool are you using? Would you recommend it?
It is a Autel MK908, and I would definitely recommend it, although it is quite expensive...
Mercedes clk 2004 which resistor i must use please its great video bro
You got to test it out, with someone siting on the seat, and you got to measure the resistance
2.3 k would be 2300 ohms correct?
The airbag should still be able to deploy right if an accident occur?
Of course, that's why I did this
Pozdrav momče, da li bi moglo ovako na Fiat Stilu?
Ima 3 žice.
Have you ever done a 2010 Chevrolet Impala? Do you know what resistor to use?
No, but you can find out by having someone sit in the seat, and taking the resistance measurement...

I have a question
Ho lo stesso problema chevrolet cruze 2010

It is, you could implement a switch
what watt resistor did you use
Great video as always! Whats the resistance for someone that weights 120kg? Haha
It would be below 2ohms
It's not the weight. It only triggers something is on the seat.

There is a possibility that you might need to reprogram the new ecu

It is not the same, there are different values, but keep in mind that you must know what you are doing to do this properly
I’m doing this to my dart lol I’m over this airbag shit
Did this fix secure the functionality for a driver heavier than 80 kg or below 80kg?
Of course, I basically took the average value...

Hello my friend...the best engine oil for 147?
Selenia, Liqui Molly, etc. However keep in mind that oil change interval is more important. I usually replace my oil every 5-7000km
