That has got to be the best snowmobile video out there... Those action scenes in the powder fast-forwarded to 200 mi an hour were totally delightful.... I chuckled all the way through it
As teenagers, my friends and I got a hold of this video. We watched it so much that the tape wore out. This was back when we were riding late 70's sleds (all we could afford). We'd watch this before going out riding. The wildcat and ext were just dreams of ours - the closest we got was watching this. Thanks so much for the memories!
I always looked forward to these videos coming out. We used to have a little party to watch them together and get pumped for the upcoming season. Remember the cat cash? used to use it to buy a cover, LOL
19:18 Those neon green, pink and purple jackets not to mention lightning bolts on the corduroy hat bill. That’s SO early 90s. I hope that never comes back!
Part of our Job shooting these Promo videos was to also run the Machines to to extreme. I was privileged to be a Promo Rider from 1986 to 1995 Model years. My Dad being a Cat Dealer from 1967 to 1996. We also sold Kawasaki, John Deere, and several short lived Brands in that time as well.
So what was the point of the safety disclaimer? I honestly didn't see anything special. At 15 I would have shredded these "pro" riders. Honestly they suck and are pretty sloppy is if you ask me. We were riding the glaciers in the HooDoo Mountains here in Alaska when we were just kids.

Looking at my worn out 91 jag it's hard to imagine it was new at one time...... this was cool to watch, I'll have it out on the trail tomorrow.
I’m still riding a jag and pantera from 1991. I love the old machines

This is great. I still ride my 90 Panther - 75 mikes last weekend. :)
The good'ol days, when men were men, trucks were trucks, and a family could afford to buy two snowmobiles w/ a trailer.
Bought a new leftover 1991 EXT in December of '91. 530 c.c. I've owned lots of Cats, and that 530 was an oil thirsty son of a gun!
Thank you for this.
I’d never seen that before, thanks for sharing!
Enjoy these beautiful films...Wish Cats narration gave more specs. though
Man the times have changed!
The 2nd golden age of snowmobiling.
And to think some people spend their winters indoors
Not me. I spend my time on my snowmobile when I get enough snow
To ride. But the last 4 years. I don't get enough for riding. I live in Michigan
Looks like these pro riders just pin the throttle most of the time...Not Me, I hate crashing ha ha.
