It is so funny that we are on the same wavelength. We've used a couple varieties. Now with 53 hens, we've got to keep a few groups identified or certain girls identified. Great video Sarah!
Are you reading my mind? I’ve literally been looking into buying these for 2 days. I have 3 Ameraucanas that look identical. I’m having a hard time telling them apart. Awesome coincidence.
Lol! Yes, yes I am. You know I used to see these things and think “Why?” (Which is also me being judgy.) But now I get it! I need to reference these dumb little things every day but they’re no risk to my hens so why NOT? Also while we’re on the subject of reading your mind… yes to the Mac and cheese, no to dessert. 😆
Oh wow, I grabbed some small red flowers off one of our plants to show to Mt hens. They FREAKED out at the flowers(they did the whole backtrack on slippery ice routine. I just thought "oh these might be toxic to my lil buddies".
No red leg bands huh!? The first thing I thought of was what about the red face attire! Maybe they’re just use to the combs and wattles always being red. Funny birds!
You have such a beautiful coop! I love the flowers and the little trees
Thank you! It’s always a work in progress ✌🏻❤️🐓
Wonderful informative video! Thank you
Great Idea!
They look like they’re doing well!
Your new chickens are beautiful! I love black and white chickens.....never heard of this breed.

Oh it’s possible that red on a plant doesn’t make that connection, that they were just scared or spooked in general. But yes as a rule red is bad!

Are these 4” zip ties?
I believe so - they’re the thinnest smallest ones I had in my set. ✌🏼❤️🐓
