In this week's video I am talking about my Disney Parks Audition experience! I went to a ton of different types of auditions with Disney from Princess/ look alike auditions, to dancing for the parades! I wanted to share how to do your hair, makeup, and what to wear for a Disney audition, tell you about the process and what to expect, and my favorite part, costuming!! What a shame that some of the other girls were being mean in the audition process because surely if they knew everything then they would already be friends with the princesses.

Thank you!! I agree, and from my friends who have worked as a character performer, some of them don't stop being mean even after they get the role 😭
The stating your name portion is called a slate, and it’s pretty standard for recorded auditions, particularly in acting!
It’s not a secret test, it’s just a way to briefly introduce yourself to the other casting directors (since usually only one or two are present for any particular callback), and it’s another way for the casting directors to verify they have the right tape for everyone. The last thing they want is a case of mistaken identity by accidentally hiring the wrong girl! Doubly so because everyone reading for a particular role looks fairly similar

I’m a year late, but when i had my fitting for Mulan they addressed me as Mulan when i walked into the audition room and i responded in character but then they said “What’s your real name?” and then i responded with my actual name.😂 I wondered if it was a test too, but that was my experience! I’m currently on the “bench” for my role so i was approved! It’s so nice to hear your story and i think you’d make an amazing Anna!

I think the max is. Like 27-28 but if you still look crazily young after then theres a chance
