    Soundstage is pretty impressive. EQ'd these are detailed and has nice soundstage. These are amazing for EDM, trance, synth, and new wave.

    thank you for the comparison with the Argons, that was exactly what I was here for^^ I was planing on modding the T40RP, but then whent on a planar tangent. Given that I am a sucker for base and the Price for the sundara here is 500€ vs. 140€, this is an easy one :)
    Nice review btw!

    Thing is the closed back is not simply a Sundara with cups slapped on. It has trickle down tech from the R10P in both the stealth magnet and the topography of the cup.

      That's good to know. Just got the sundara for 100$ and the her10D for 230$ because I wasnt sure between the dynamic and planar for closed back and the HER10P is like 3500$ which is simply too much lol.

    Also, I liked the Sundara but something was missing for me. I sold it immediately after picking one up off the used market. It sounded great but I held out for the hifiman 6se v2. Happy so far. I wish the earcups were bigger though. Maybe even oval.

    The Sundara open just lacked Bass which is why I no longer have mine but I still have my original HE400 and 4XX .
    I'm curious about the closed back but actually will buy the Monolith 1570 closed because My open 1570 is as close as I can afford that mimicks my favorite Headphones the LCD 4

    Since I know you like verite open, I can easily say you must try VC. Headphones must be really open to even start competing with VC, they are Argons on steroids. With proper binaural recording its pure magic. Its true masterpiece of Zach engineering. I have chosen closed verite because I know its not enough and Atrium will be better open option. ZMF 👑

    Great review as usual. How does it compare to the beyerdynamic 177x Go as far as close backs? I absolutely love the 177x go but wondered if there was something else that is better and reasonably priced. I too believe in the used market.

    • @MrAyrit
      @MrAyrit  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Sundara are going to have more clarity, but I think overall, I'd probably still prefer the 177x.

    I heard the Sundara’s make a great gaming headset if you pair it with the SteelSeries Game Dac Gen 2 but I am not sure if they were talking about the open back or the closed back. The closed backs cost $150 and the open back cost $300 now

      You know, doing a bit more testing on this after seeing your comment, and I find them both bass light. They're actually pretty darn close. It's a track to track thing. Sometimes I like the bass better on the open, sometimes on the closed 🤷‍♀

    Can I get much better quality from these headphones with an iPhone than wireless headphones (for example, Momentum 4) without an amp?

      Probably not without an amp. With something like a btr7, then yes, IMO.

    Good evening, one thing bothers me after consulting several reviews, most of the tests were carried out without the pre-required break-in by the manufacturer and with the original cable. My question is, have you had a chance to try the headphones with a balanced 4.4mm jack to dual 3.5mm jack cable and with the recommended break-in times?

    • @MrAyrit
      @MrAyrit  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I usually let them run for a day or two before I sit down to really listen. I just use whatever cable is convenient.
