While I am always eager to hear an interview with Ueli, the title of this video is very misleading and the uploader should come up with something else to interest viewers instead of gathering page views with a silly event made to sound big. The 'Almost went wrong' scenario that he experienced is less of an issue then if he woke up that morning with diarrhea which none of us would care to hear about either. During an approach on an established trail in a valley, Ueli takes a wrong turn at a Y. The consequence is a few hours of wasted time having to backtrack on an overall easy route with no real pressures such as a timed speed ascent/upset partner etc. This slight error has no relation to the type of story or incident one would expect to hear as the title may be inferring. If the material is interesting enough it will speak for itself, thanks for the upload none the less.
That is exactly what I came to post! "Going wrong" by taking the wrong path hardly compares to someone falling to their death! EpicTv's fault for this ... not Ueli's!
Patrick Berhault died in 2004 trying to achieve this same project (all 82 Alps 4000m summits in 82 days).
Has anyone found the spaceship that deposited him down on this planet yet? I think his people are looking for him, as well . . .
It is interesting that Martijn Seuren is not mentioned at all.
I think losing friends to the mountains might just be a fact of life to them
He did put the challenge on hold and went to see his family.
At the interview - they are wearing flip flops and a jacket. How are they not freezing/boiling :D
They don't boil because they have flipflops and they don't freeze because they have jackets :D
