I’m about to join the AF and I’m looking into cyber system operations or cyber transport system as a career. They bout sound similar to me, I don’t have any experience in IT but I’m would like to work with data centers, switches, routers stuff like that and eventually get my ccna certification . Can you get me any advice on what career should I choose. Thank you for your time Jonathan!
Cyber transport is definitely more that job, cyber system ops is server administration work, we dont really work with switches etc. in that manner. Hope that helps! Both are great jobs though.

It all depends on what job specifically you want to do, ask your recruiter for a list with the score requirements. If you need to retest to get the score you want then do it! Just remember it doesn’t guarantee youll get that job, just the chance at it. Also thanks for watching im glad you like the videos!
I really want to join the Air Force and grew up on Oahu in Hawaii.. What are the chances of getting a cyber job/career at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam? Im trying to find my angle to get back to Hawaii.. Looking into Cybersecurity and wonder if it would be to my advantage to get my CompTia Security+ certification first before enlisting.
So I see you are married. One big mistake a lot of young guys do when they joined the air force in my days (mid 1970's) is getting married when joining. There were some career fields in the air force that you cannot take your wife with you. Assignments that you had to be away from your wife for a whole year. I'm sure that all changed now since the end of the cold war.
I’m nervous I’ll get a bad score on the test and I won’t get a job I enjoy 😭 I always panic for any test and do great on it but the chance of not doing good makes me feel Ill 😭
When you say that you are about to finish your 4 years, do you mean your 4 years of active duty meaning you still have 4 years left? If i'm not mistaken i believe all contracts specify a total of 8 years.
I been watching your videos and following your career as designer for a while, i enjoyed your videos, I am a tech school right now, sadly I was not able to get the job i wanted cyber system, i have avionics back shop, I don't think i gonna like it but it is what it is, at least i have to use this time to finish a college degree and use the benefits we have in the military, Btw ill appreciate if you can recommend me a good college to study online, Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering, Rocket Science? my first duty station will be at Shaw, SC. thanks and I hope to keep seen your videos around here.

You can always retest, doesn't take that high of a score to qualify for a lot of the jobs.

No not really tbh, made a lot of friends and had a bit of job security for 4 years but all info for my job in IT is publicly available
