I’ve been following Lovebites since their first album. Watching them progress and get better and better has been an awesome experience. I started out as a drummer but now I’m a bass player and I appreciate the talent that it takes to put on a show like this. More please.

There is a specific group that LOVEBITES' bassist/leader/founder Miho watched from side-of-stage at Download Festival 2019 that she has said led to her writing this song. Lyrics are her own, and music in colaboration with friend-of-LOVEBITES Mao. That band she watched was Slayer...
Arranged by the whole band, as usual. LOVEBITES takes many, many influences and makes music of their own that honors those influences. "Five digits of a hand" is a good way to describe their 'aligned destinies'. "Marks of a good Metal band... stops" I completely agree. The precision with which these musicians are sync'd transcends the most progressive fusion or any other genre I have ever heard. An entire hour&45min show of nothing less than perfection in composition, performance and presentation. What more could one ask for? Unsurpassed beauty? Yeah, that too! How about kind, personable and accessible? I have not found one aspect of LOVEBITES that leaves anything to-be-desired, save BEING PRESENT at a LIVE PERFORMANCE, (or having them as neighbors!)

13:20 No. Those 5 objects are " Masters of Five Leaves " , which are a kind of mandala in "Mantra Esoteric Buddhism " (Shingon-Mikkyo) in Japan. Five leaves means ,of course , five members of this band . And the five leaves transforms into one symbol which is ,of course, " Lovebites ". ))

Thanks Nick! Great job! Agree with you on all points. Following is not to diminish LoveBites in any way, but to introduce you to other awesome Japanese Girl Bands.
In regards to songwriting abilities, take note (ALSO in addition) of Band-Maid's lead guitarist Kanami. Awesome songwriter and all around talent that is kind of the glue that binds that band together so tightly.
In regards to production, Baby Metal is even another level higher than this awesome band. Be prepared for more FULLY BODY GOOSEBUMPS! Check out "BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance - Live in Japan (OFFICIAL)" th-cam.com/video/zTEYUFgLveY/w-d-xo.html Not only for production value, but I've never seen a band OWN THE CROWD like these tiny little cute girls! The first minute is oddly amazing, and starting exactly at 1:00 (for 40 seconds), I guarantee you, that you've never seen anything like this! They always play in large venues (20-55K fans), and always sell out multiple performances for days in a row! They also have the crowd chanting like you've never seen, even to the point that the band stops playing and only the crowd is chanting ON THEIR OWN! Shots of the crowd are unbelievable!

This is what you get when you have a drummer whose favorite band is Helloween, a bassist/Mama bear who has a collection of shirts from metal bands every 80s metal artist would be jealous of, a Gary More/Chopin/Dimebag Darrel influenced pianist/guitarist, a Malmsteen/Marty Friedman-influenced guitarist, and a R'n'B singer with chops that sound like a cross between Bruce Dickinson and Joey Belladonna. That's LoveBites. Right now, Nightwish, LoveBites, and Babymetal are the 3 biggest bands in the world, with Sabaton a close fourth.
Second.. Mozart of Metal? I wouldn't say that just yet.. You haven't seen Nightwish yet. That.. Tuomas Holopainen.. That's Metal Mozart. Besides.. Miyako is the Chopin of Metal. ;)
Finally, does anybody want to tell him about LoveBites' performance of Break The Wall and Swan Song (With Revolution Etude) from this same show?

As a non-technical ear & feel player, I don't figure out 'counts' very well, but this works out as 3+5 when I play along. Can you explain what is happening in "proper" musical terms? Thanks, and take all the time you want analyzing any and all LOVEBITES songs! I do find it a bit disappointing for you, and all 'reactors' I see, that you don't see these shows from start to finish as LOVEBITES works so hard to present to us. This hour&45minute mindbogglingly-flawless display of virtuosity in all aspects is not properly comprehended when viewed in segments of individual songs, imo. In show, this is followed by 'Holy War' then 'Don't Bite The Dust' with near-segue into 'Rising'. The lyrical themes are akin to a Metal-Opera throughout. The encore, in it's entirety is a profound exit-statement with the potential to restore humane-behavior to humanity. Okay, yes, I am a fan(atic). Keep them coming and I will watch, and play along with your 'no-pause first-pass' format! I encourage you to (once you have seen them individually) at least go back and watch in continuous consecutive order. Nothing will be lost by having already seen them individually, I assure you...

Even before the Japanese opened 170 years ago, craftsmen have been competing for superiority in their skills in a small island country. This is the so-called craftsmanship. Even those that came in from overseas, such as matchlocks, will be improved and made beyond the original. The Japanese may be nerdy in a good way. Even today in the 21st century, we do not copy music that comes in from overseas as it is. Knead, devise, twist and polish. Regarding the performance of musical instruments, it seems that Japan is a country of chopsticks. Use chopsticks with your fingers. You can also pick up each grain of rice with chopsticks.

Singing is weird for me I can keep my tone with the music and say anything. It's like when you are talking to a baby it doesnt matter what you say as long as your time is soothing.
