Great video! Pretty cool to see. I've never seen these beans harvested before. We just do corn for grain and silage, sweetcorn, soybeans, alfalfa, and dry hay on our farm

Get an air reel on the flex head crop feeds in way better and a set of bean lifters too. Cut a slight angle to planted rows lifters can pay for them selves in one season

We direct cut the blacks too. They can be difficult to load in a truck at night because of them being dark

That’s great. We run the cylinder very slow, open the concave so the beans don’t split and drive fast enough to keep it thrashing good. What do you harvest them with?

Hey, great video, we also grow black beans and pinto beans here down in Durango, a state in the north of Mexico.
We have a 2004 JD 9760 STS but we have a problem, it splits the beans way too much, is there any chance you could upload a video where you show the settings on your combine?
We have tried different things but we get a lot of split beans.
Also, what kind of concaves do you use for the beans?

Very interesting, is your 9760 a “bullet rotor”? That makes a difference because the bullet is a smoother transition. I will check my settings, I hope to start our black beans on Monday. If you have instagram my name is Farming_Sumbitch thanks for watching

I use a case ih 1688. We slow our clean grain elevator down the rock trap beater as well and set our front and back concaves lever to each other. I know I have red combine and you have a green on but we both have a clean grain elevator. I also run rotor as slow as possible.

We use 250 pounds of liquid 7-21-7 as a starter fertilizer plus spread potash. Good luck
