We are so excited to be in BAGUIO, the coldest city in the Philippines! Today, we are doing something a little bit different. We have $5 to get anything we want and explore Baguio’s main market.
This market was definitely different to other markets in Asia, but we loved it and it had EVERYTHING! You have to watch the video to see what variety this market has… and of course, to see what we find with our $5 (300 Peso). Do let us know how you think we got on!!

I enjoyed this vlog as much as I enjoy going to the Baguio Market. Sadly, it is not representative of any Filipino Market elsewhere that I know of. Baguio Market is, as you have pointed out, noted for its fresh produce (particularly berries and oranges, and wide variety of veggies), ground coffee, delicacies, and arts & craft. They have wide aisles to cater to shoppers and tourists, very organised, and well ventilated (due to the climate in the mountains). Baguio is where I first learned to eat veggies as a child because food there, being made of fresh ingredients, are insanely good.

if you cook, the best deal is buy vegetables. You can buy three types of vege 1kilo each for a total 100pesos, enough for a week meal for both of you

I challenge you to find a market in that has stray cats around and feed them some small fish. I did this when I was in the Philippines. It will be some good footage for your video.
Aww we love that suggestion!! We have seen a lot of stray animals and off camera we do buy food for them ☺️ We love animals, we will try get this on camera at some point 🙏🏼
