Hey bud. You’re doing good. Life happens and family is our biggest priority. Work will forever be temporary. Stay focused and always stay positive 🤞🏾✊🏾
Here I thought fades were a thing of the past. Now I see how good they look when they're cut well. Great job keeping up the style and showing how it's done, Phil!
Awesome technique removing the bulk with a detachable. I’ve been cutting hair for about 24 years. I fade with the Oster octane all day. Probably do about 75% of the fade with that machine. Probably knocks about 10 to 15 minutes off of the haircut. I think fading with detachable‘s is so underrated. It definitely is a lot more expensive. But I think your haircuts come out so much more crisp, and it is much more efficient. Great content!!!!!🙏🙏💈💈💈💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
👊🏼, I definitely prefer to do bulk removal with my Oster Volt detachable, but the lower parts of my fades, the parts that really make a fade pop, I live using my X-Ergos
Haha, the guys at the shop call them my dog clippers. Oh well, $70 cheaper for essentially the exact same clipper, and I like the white and green color scheme better!
My man..great to see a tutorial brother.that’s crazy u found the volt to be that much cheaper…I used to want it but it was always more expensive and it says it’s heavier then the octane…is it heavier then the Supra?
I didn’t check the weight comparison. If it is heavier, I don’t notice it much. Price difference is like $70 cheaper, and I looked at off of the numbers on the battery for both clippers and they were the same.
@@MultiTlp yes, for sure, but they are a different type of clipper as well. The senior has a lever on the side that allows you to adjust the blade length. They Oster Volt is a detachable clipper that has blades that you take on and off for different lengths, but those blade are a set length with no adjustability.
I switched the taper blade on the Gamma X-Ergo with the Fusion Blade from Gamma and I noticed in the closed position with no guard the teeth cut cut you, even though my clippers aren't zero gapped. Very strange considering I have the original Ergo's with the fade blade and there is no issues with them and they are basically the same clipper
Yes, very strange indeed. With the deep tooth cutting blade, fusion blade z pretty much zero gapped, and the stretch bracket, I personally have been lucky enough to not experience that. May try a new blade.

I own a feather razor. I’m just afraid to use it. But I gotta use my tools to my advantage
After using both, I think it’s much easier using the razor over using the chunking shears or point cutting.

I’m gonna add the Amazon link in the video bio
I can't find the link for the White "dog" clipper you mentioned? I'm actually looking for a dog clipper! Thanks Phil. good to see you back.
Thank you Kathe! If I did it correctly, I just added a link to the cheapest one I could find on Google!

How are those cheaper tha supra zr2
Technically this clipper is targeted towards dog grooming, so I guess that’s why the price is lower, but the EXACT same clipper as the Oster Octane.
