I'm especially impressed by your handling/interpretation of the minor section as this is often overlooked and is the most difficult section of this exceedingly difficult arrangement. GREAT JOB Garrett!
Bravo! The Foster transcription in the key of C maj one of the most difficult pieces in the guitar repertoire. The piece of a lifetime, for a lifetime. Johann Sebastian Bach composed it in the key of G maj which by the way is not as challenging on guitar as the key Mr. Vowinkel has chosen. Kudos
I listened to Garrett’s Estudio Brilliante and this piece, and my first thoughts were how much his playing reminded me of Parkening. LOL, I googled him and he is studying classical guitar at Pepperdine!
Excellent performance of my all-time favorite, hand-busting arrangement of this tune! If Rick Foster and Christopher Parkening have seen this, then I'm guessing they were smiling from ear to ear:-)
A flawless performance. I mean it, I've seen hundreds of renditions of this piece. That guitar is requiring too much effort from the musician, I doubt the average player could come sonically close to this.
This was the first video I heard Garrett play on his own channel last year! This one was even more nuanced and detailed. It's exiting to see how far he's come; keep it up! 😁
Fantastic performance. Didn't "cheat" and go the easy route. Perfect tempo. But this arr. requires a _whole_ lot of practice and technical skill and paying attention to what you're doing to avoid hitting just that one ruinous clinker. The payoff? -Well, you're hearing it - doesn't get much better than this. I think the tune lends itself better to classical guitar than piano, e.g., because on piano the notes sustain and blend too much even with of course the pedal up. Stunning guitar, btw, with an aesthetically flawless top.
Why do all guitarist have to make stupid "stink faces" while they are playing? Like OMG it is so effing hard to play this I have to make all these assinine facial expressions because I'm in so much pain making these extreme finger contortions. Dude... just play and drop all the facial drama. Too much. 👎👎

Thank you so much, Maestro!
Hi Taso ! I like your teaching at elitegui...
is that why he plays the piece on a small guitar?
@@datdang9113 The fretboards looks the same size
Very impressive. The musician is emotionally connected with the piece. Bravo!

right, I play this myself, in G, and without the mentionend minor part, and not with 3 tones at the same time.
Lovely rendition, it is delightful to hear, and a perfect ending of an Easter Sunday.
Beautiful. This man is one with his guitar. Hats off.
This is the most moving rendition of this piece I can think of.
This is quite possibly the most beautiful and perfect piece of baroque music. ❤ And that also applies to your amazing interpretation!
I listened to Garrett’s Estudio Brilliante and this piece, and my first thoughts were how much his playing reminded me of Parkening. LOL, I googled him and he is studying classical guitar at Pepperdine!
I could tell immediately that he was a student of Parkening’s as well!
He makes the same faces that Parkening does lol
Beautiful arrangement ❤❤❤
It's sounding like Christopher Parkening's RECORDING, Bravo! Classical Guitarists FEEL the INSTRUMENT.

Excellent in every way.

Just listening to this makes my eyes twitch, the most evil fingerings ever devised.......
It's also perfect at the same time, so very well done

Well said
Parkening arrange ?
Not my favourite sounding guitar by a long shot...
Very good performance though. Maintained the gravity of the sustained sections very well.
Slow down a little bit.

Ok this dude is extremely tall...the guitar is smaller than him, and that's scary af-
