If the Thor ain't gonna throw around hammers that will return to it, I'll be a tad-bit disappointed.
*The Hammer Securities in question:*
Maybe he can call in a choppa
I'd accept chain lightning and a powerful melee attack.
"Dropping the hammer", not throwing the hammer smh
Or maybe he will have a psionic storm or some sort of lighting thing
Robo-Zul so the STALKERS don't irradiate him!!
Yeah. I also had the feeling they only choose that meme so zeratul doesn't get irradiated.
Suppressive Fire Systems sounds great with squad of flying turreted depots and flying planetary fortresses
There is an opportunity to be REAL funny during Shatter the Sky
Don’t forget siege makers with mini planetary fortresses if that works with the tech to make them lift off
Now we just need depressive fire systems that just throw insults
The bonus objective should be renamed to
"Find and devour tissue samples."
Also modify the dialogue of Stettman so he just says "I can't wait to dig into that!" I'd love it so much.
@@SlimurgicalHis follow-up line about eating it can just have the word not snipped out, so he just straight up says he's going to eat it.
@@Slimurgical This was in the previous mission
@@Slimurgical another mod had Stettman say something like "Can't wait to dig into that! i mean i'm going to eat it!"
"I kinda forgot that wraiths could hit air."
Also: "I forgot that they go invisible when they cloak"
When Robo-Tul showed up speaking Portugese, my first reaction was "What in the Suavemente is going on here lol"
Robo-Tul tá sem coleira.
Odins Ravens are Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory or Mind).
oh yeah aren't these the two crows on Odin's shoulders? in the mythology i mean
@@NicosCh530 Grant never checked the abilities tooltip. There is a decent chance they are called the same here.
There was part of me that half expected a reference to Mindhawk's Challenge Gauntlet's Zeratul just to trigger Grant's PTSD either before Mech-athul took over, or after the mission when Zerathul comes back he just says all his lines
Inaccurate doordash simulation, you didn't lose money for like ten years and you actually hired employees.
Yes, but the basics were there - making deliveries to someone who has obviously stolen Demetrius' credit card, and getting shot at en-route.
doordash is a part time job at best (evenings and weekends). being in an urban area is a must
Maybe it is part of the meme...
@@20xd6 Between gas and car wear and tear, you might not even break even on doing it tbh
Also, Loki could be painted green and the dialog "I could've done it father! For you! For all of us!" would pop up when Odin beats Loki :p
Mah do real norse mytholagy and give him a giant wolf
Loki can now cast confusion, mind control, and can spawn wolves and horses and snakes as void entities, like a void shard
Swap mind control for OG maelstrom. It's fitting.
@@grandthieflupingames3470 Tychus: you cannot exterminate an entire Wraithling species!
Loki: Why not?
as a brazilian person, i never noticed the major difference between the portuguese voice acting to the original english audio when it comes to speedrunning, and yes, i laughted a lot once robo-tul started talking.
Same here, got completely blindsided by random portuguese robot zeratul!
As grant stated, they fixed it a while ago I believe.
He's just so much more efficient than Zeratul!
"I forgot the get invisible when they cloak" - Grant, 2024.
15:15 I work at a convenience store that does deliveries and can confirm the we do, in fact get to know our regulars quite well. we deliver regularly to several alchoholics, who order so often that you can tell whats on the order just by the adress/name. its actually pretty depressing scanning 20 cans of larger knowing someone is drinking themselves to death with it. one of them used to be the only customer who was buying this horrible store brand cider sold in 3L bottles we have, we called him 'cider man'.
I had someone who frequently bought 30 Gatorades of three different flavours
The big versions. It was a woman so it's unlikely, but not impossible, that it was for a sports team or something. If it wasn't, ima be honest they need to cut back lol
Tyrador VIII mission is called "Morbin' time" 0:06
Love that they're referencing my favorite part of the movie
I love the detail of making Zeratul a robotic unit so that the stalkers don't slowly will him with the radiation.
Also, i wonder, does biological mechs heal like zerg bio does? and if so, is the zern passive heal better than the vanilla biosteel?
Great work with the extra credits, they are great.
BioSteel has insane regen compared to zerg passive.
@@majormajorasic no, it's actually worse.
Edit: no, it's actually faster, but has 3 second delay after getting hit. Bio steel has regeneration rate of 0,6015 and passive zerg regeneration is 0,2734.
@@majormajorasic i see, man, that upgrade seems bad, i mean, it seems fun, but also bad since the only source of healing the terrans have (afaik) is the medic, and maybe the firebat but that is a big maybe
@@Ricardo_Rick Science Vessel and Medivac also exist y'know.
@@NandolfBlockbuster science vessels heal mech, and we don't even know if they are in the mod, same with medivacs, we don't know how they were changed
real scale wraiths and mythologically accurate odin, what a treat!
ooooooohhhhh, yeah, i totally missed that... yeah, ravens and odin, this was obvious.... cant believe i missed that.
Odin has 2 ravens in the mythos. Hugnin and Munin. I thought you played age of mythology? So it makes sense there are 2 ravens
Did you play Age of Mythology?
I mean, he figures it out later in the mission
You dont actually get to use the ravens in the campaign very much, you play Thor almost the entire time
Valheim also has those two ravens in it.
@@ExValeFor there's Well of Urd, and I think that's it?
Tiny adorable Wraithlings delivering lunch orders for credits is so amazing and so funny!
Grant never stops talking while I want to listen to Brazilian Zeratul
Grant just speaks even more than Zeratul.
i mean, you can listen to brazilian zeratul by playing the mission with language set to portugese..
I do recommend playing the game with Portuguese dubbing, it’s legitimately great. Except Nova Covert Ops, the VAs are different for the terran characters and it just feels off after 3 whole campaigns all with the same VAs. Everything else is great though
@@michanowak3001 After years of playing this campaign, Grant learns from Zeratul how is it important to speak all the time 😂
Along with the Spartan Company, Grant forgot to show us the Planetarium Fortress.
Grant called not that big of a meme but Brazilian-Portugese zeratul is the funniest shit ever to me
I'm calling this right now: The meme of this mission will be one big Norse mythology joke.
Would be even funnier if they made it Horse mythology instead. But that would be dumb.
@@anzyroadside2374 No, BAD LOKI! BAD LOKI!
@@anzyroadside2374 I don't understand, will it fight?
so a fight with a big 'snake' and a big 'wolf'?
I bet you didn't have *Food delivery Wraith service* in your bingo card 😅
Man I wish I had that kind of thumbnail editing skill
one day, one day there will come a time
It's mostly a matter of using copy+paste, carefully erasing around what's needed, and layers.
Lots of layers.
The swarm-y Wraithlings is actually pretty good.
15:29 The Loki melted.
30:17 Zeratul: Good. That's one less loose end.
Gotta love Hugin and Munin with with the Odin.
Those poor wraiths were delivering food to a guy in an active warzone only to end up being given a 5% tip, really says a lot about the state of the 2500's food delivery industry.
let me guess they're gonna leap up and chew on their starships?
Already have that with the predators, but who knows!
Whispers of Doom meme: Nobody likes this mission, so let's just make it faster.
now featuring brazilian zeratul
The Odin's Ravens granting him knowledge (High ground vision) is accurate to the myths.
27:04 "I forgot that they're invisible when they cloak."
I thought that "whispers of doom" was just be: Play Doom in SC2 with Zerg being Demons xD
Doom was on the arcade machine so I had hopes of that Zeratul would be replaced by doom guy
"Multiple playthrough of custom campains simpy doesn't happen"
Jokes on you Grant, I played Moebuius and UPL mod 3 times each :P
I also replayed Tychus, Mengsk, and Elite Hyperion. Good campaigns are good!
Siege Bankers are gonna be insane on All-In, invest, fight off the attack wave, ???, profit
don't you hate when you get tipped by a millionaire instead of a billionaire
The Odin's pet Ravens are a reference to Hugin and Munin from Norse Mythology. They're Odin's pet ravens that whisper secrets to him
The odin having ravens was a great move, very big brain
Grant not getting the joke of odin and his two ravens got me good.
THATS HUGIN AND MUNIN!
That Bio-steel meme is honestly what I expected Bio-steel in the base game to be from day 1. Passive regen is dumb, let my mech units be healable so I can put tanks and goliaths in my bioball comp!
perfect Nuke Noodles ending for the wraithlings by grant lol.
"They're invisible when they're cloaked " XD
Specifically, in mythology Odin has 2 pet ravens. so that's why the Odin has *2* ravens
I'll admit, while the lunch orders were phenomenal, I'm a little disappointed there are no daughters that either needed finding or hiding.
10:25 The description of how the Siege Banker fully works, makes it very valuable for All In, also paired with the "No Merc Charges" if you can get 10 of those guys during a wave of Nydus Worms, you will never have to worry about money and gas.
14:34 Yes, Odin has two ravens named Huginn and Muninn.
Very happy with the call back to Legacy of the Memes.
Disturbingly Biological Steel + No Merc Charge + Siege Banker + American Healthcare? Although this is before we find out what medivacs do. :D
12:24 Missed opportunity to be +100500 Credits.
Its not a funny number outside of Russia, methinks
Should I say «Yes» or «No» if I agree with your statement? This is the hardest part about speaking English.
@@karpai5427 Yes or No by themselves could be understood either way (though in this case I think Yes is more likely to be understood right). The trick is to not say just yes or no, but to add something to it. Such as "Yes, I agree" or "No, you're right". Hope that's helpful!
just noticed the lab upgrades have their own lore snippets, pretty cool
The biggest part of being a delivery driver that this captures is that some people tip you way too much when you half ass it, and some people you get them their food like you're abusing noclip mechanics in traffic and they STILL don't tip.
The reason why the odin has ravens flying around him is because in actual mythology odin had ravens (the actual bird)
"Yes and you call them fried clams despite the fact that they are obviously grilled"
0:01 Why would he say this? What was the reason?
Prob something to do with twitch chat at the time
"people don't want to see boring science stuff, they want to see the dominion war machine killing people" had me dying of laughter.
OMG the odin having ravens, thats a deep lore cut.
Grant forgetting Hammer Securities can deploy mini missile turrets and let the wraithlings move pass the banshee is just so hilarious to watch xD
that was a surprise, suddenlly hearing zeratul speak brazillian portuguese seeing as i myself am brazillian lol.
Tychus is having himself an unforgettable luncheon!
Might be a bit late to think about this, but I wonder if they snuck some memes in the descriptions of the artifacts as they gathered, or in the sample tanks as you gather more research. It's just text, so it wouldn't be too hard to change it, unlike full-fledged cutscenes.
26:41 watch the minimap u can see Zeratul breaking containment
"I forgot they were invisible when they cloak." Yet another grantism.
It's the Odin, so I think its weapon name would be changed to Gungnir and there should be 2 ravens hovering beside it :p
How about an eyepatch for a fashion statement?
Maybe someone else called it out, but was that Doom on the arcade machine screen?
Seeing all the little memes on the Arcade cabinet. I can't wait too see what they put inside it
the fact that Odin has Huginn and Muninn with him is... beautiful. i kinda wish that the Odin has some more range, though, to make it like he has the spear...
Thanks for the delivery of memes! ^^
Seriously, the Odin having a pair of Ravens isn't just a fun meme-bit, it's just a really cool, appropriate idea in general.
As in, the Odin should totally have had that from the beginning XD
the two ravens are probably a reference to Odin's pet ravens Huginn and Muninn
The two ravens following Odin are a refference to his two actual ravens Huginn and Muninn in Norse mythology. Odin used them to gather the information on the happenings in midgard so... highground vision is oddly fitting
"I forgot that they're invisible when they cloak"
-GiantGrantGames 2024
You don't say? heh heh heh
Ya know i usually wait for the mod to be out before i watch the whole series, usually just watch the first 3 vids to see if i want to play it and go back later, but i can’t stop laughing at the madness! 🤣 Ty modders and Grant for this amazing gem of a faction
Pull da boyz is another word for call to arms, by the sounds of it.
Really hope that he gets around to really used the Medic Lifedrain thingy. Looks really cool
Odin in mythology is known to have two ravens that are like his spies or informants. hence the ravens lol
as a brazilian i did not expect robo-tul to speak in portuguese , i love it so much
12:40 It seems there's a typo for credit rewards.
Seems to go 5k, 10k, 10k, 15k, but in the game pop-ups it goes 5k, 100k, 100k, 10.5k
Considering he got 535.500 credits for the mission, it seems to working as intended, no typos
@@Ghooostie Just me missing the meme then
Actually it could be time dependent. Lower delivery times gave him less money. 19s = 5k, 35s = 10.5k and rest of the times 51s, 54s, 65s and 69s = 100k
If disturbingly biologicla steel makes all your mech units bio, does that mean Kerrigan can't implode them anymore? Cuz if so, that would be pretty cool.
Big fan of the Odin’s ravens. 1) the mythological aspect of it is fun, 2) this mission can be irritating if you don’t have your own ravens/vessels/scans to detect banshees.
As a dominos delivery driver this one has a kick to it lmao
22:00 I hadn’t noticed until now…the artifact is a FRUIT SALAD 😂
The reserch texts are awesome!!!
Who knew being an Uber Eats driver could be engaging gameplay :D
If the tips are based on delivery speed, I could see it being a viable strategy to keep wraiths waiting at each pickup location to maximise that cashmoney
The Odin has two Ravens, because the mythical Odin has two ravens :'D
Hugin and Munin
yes, Grant, things are invisible when they cloak
Thor Meme Predictions:
1. It's a accentism and every single field it can contain it, contains a 4. It costs 444 minerals and 44 gas, has 444 health, 4 armor, deals 44 damage, attacks 4 times, has an attack speed of 4, range of 4 and a speed of 4.
2. It becomes less powerful and eventually deactivates if you don't click on it regularly, but the more you click on it past its requirement, the stronger it gets.
3. It literally wastes away if it's outside of combat, but has various bonuses it gets while in combat and basically functions as a unit you don't want to keep out of combat for any reason.
I'm willing to say that the mini Ravens the Odin has are Munnin and Huginn, Odin's ravens in mythology, just thinking that's the case
I can't wait for fully upgraded depots Dave's super depots
22:48 It's so funny that some voicelines barely match what the subtitles are saying so the language change works in such a hilarious way
John and Demetrius. Dog-Walker mission.
John Wick reference
The two ravens like the myth odin, nice!
I was not ready for the intro XD
One bit of critique about this mission.
I think like in the bel shir mission, there should be a simple cutscene to allow the mission to introduce the lunch orders component, give players a moment to process the, everything that's occurring.
prediction: In Utter Darkness is called In Udder Darkness and it's just cows
with plenty of stakers, so that we can moo unseen
Ahaha Odin's got two raven's thats funny
Odin, and his two pet ravens. Check.
Robo-tul sounds like Gweedo.
Odin have two pet ravens that sit on his shoulders.
Grant called me a little pogchamp. I did not expect that today.
10:40 huh. So that's not interest, but instead dividends. The Siege Banker is an investment banker!
14:30 Yes. Those two ravens *has* to be named Huginn and Munnin.
Hugin and Munin! was afraid grant would not get the ravens but he got there at the end :p
Ah reapers, the MDFC's of starcraft 2
Invisible when they cloak
Nice
I feel like the wraithling is a vision of what could have been(albeit with balancing)
Given you don't deliver the Stimpack Stout to Demetrius on the map, my headcanon is someone stole his credit card and is using it to daydrink
Im guessing the meme at the end for spongebob, is the one where Patrick becomes Arthas.
