God I miss Eddie and Benoit. They gave us some of the greatest WWE moments ever including the greatest WM ending ever.

Put aside what Benoit did to his family, he was an amazing worker and put over plenty of talent. He was a 1 in a lifetime talent.
Im only talking about his wrestling talents and skills. Nothing else. Just that. Can not state that enough.

2004... what a mediocre year, besides January to Wrestlemania XX.
Wrestlemania XX to me felt like an end of an era. After WM, the quality just nosedived and WWE was never the same since. Smackdown especially during that year was just straight up depressing.
The draft lottery that year was 🔥
Wrestlemania XX was the end of the Ruthless Aggression push which was initially meant to be defined by Brock Lesnar and RVD mainly. Triple H screwed up the RVD plans and Brock left, Eddie and Benoit gave us an incredible moment, and the rosters were basically gutted after that. Middle years had some terrible superstars come and go but the later half looked promising again but Carlito, MVP, Mr. Kennedy, etc all ended up never escaping the midcard. So disappointing but at least there were a few good memories until PG rolled around

2004 was the underrated year for WWE in my opinion
To be fair, Maven joining Evolution would have looked stupid had they actually gone through with it.
Eddie was Chavo's UNCLE, NOT cousin, even someone new to watching wrestling wouldn't get that miniscule amount of research wrong
This was the year it all went downhill and never came back up.
But TNA had their first PPV and a few good years from here before they screwed it all up, too ...
2009 was the year both wwe and tna went downhill

2004 WWE is still a million times better then 2020 WWE.
The fact that he implies that we should be shocked that JBl did not get punished for goose stepping as a heel. JBL makes solid points he is an actor he did what he did to get heat I totally agree with his remarks about other actors.

04-05 Were the last good years for WWE, the end of 2005 is when it really started spiraling down.
PerpetualBurn27 nah 2010 is when it went to shit, but it did start to decrease around 06 but it was still pretty good for a few more years

Randy Orton and John Cena were Intercontinental and United States Champion.
Edge and Chris Benoit were World Tag Team Champions, Charlie Haas & Rico were WWE Tag Team Champions
Trish Stratus was Women's Champion & Rey Mysterio was Cruiserweight Champion
Wwe in 2004...Epic it was great story after great story, it was exciting, very underrated. To me it should be named the peak of greatness!

Smackdown was literally on crack in 2004
Judgement day 2004 is probably the worst pay per view i could think of. Brock left, Angle was injured, Big Show was out. I wasn't sold on JBL in the main event, or Rene Dupree vs Cena. It got a little better around No Mercy when JBL was over as a heel, Angle feuding with Eddie, Big Show returning, and Carlito joining Smackdown.
HHH and Evolution hogging RAW every Monday....

If Jacqueline winning the cruiserweight title was the death of that belt and division, then Hornswoggle winning it later on and becoming the final champion until that title was brought back years later was the nail in the coffin.
Loved the Flair/Foley feud. there was something also about a promo Mick Foley did when he was being lent out to ECW where he threw down a WCW tag title and Flair thought it was
Cant really blame JBL for what he did. If you saw that in a movie, or tv show you would think, "wow can't believe they did that" and that's it. His job is basically being and actor 24/7 and his character draws heat.

Lol you didn't really show Univeraal Studios, you showed City Walk that leads up to the parks and doesn't cost admission to go to. Kinda like a shopping center you can visit even if you aren't going to the parks themselves. I wonder if the meeting took place there or inside of Universal Studios proper, or Islands of Adventure.

in fact its not allowed to use the nazi salute in germany. he was lucky not getting punished.
we are very aware of our history and the gouverment banned every nazi signs and salutes.
The first 3 months of 2004 were awesome. After lesnar left, smackdown nosedived in quality. Raw however managed to stay OK until after summerslam tho, but without goldberg it wasnt the same.
