@@NathanKJohnson yeah, he was. Not like I actually knew him or anything, but you could just tell from looking at him and watching how he acts. In winnipeg during that time, he was supposed to be heel, but the crowd loved him so much he was more like an inbetweener. Glad I actually got to see him in person. During that time some of the superstars were doing meet and greets at the mall, Portage I believe and that's where I met Roddy piper, chris jericho and batista. I have no idea why big dave was there because he was on raw at the time and this was for a smackdown show. Probably just for publicity since now that I think of it this was around the time batista would win the world heavyweight championship, they were probably testing to see how popular he was with the people before putting the belt on him.
But dawg, most of those guys are some of the nicest dudes you can meet. I remember being fucking scared shitless meeting batista cause the dude is so god damn big, but hes a chill guy. Pretty soft spoken for a dude that big lol. Jericho was probably the most outgoing out of all of them. Like, he knew how to be a star and do these kind of things. But Roddy piper, that dude is fucking funny. Hes quiet and timid, until you start talking to him and hes just so fucking loud lmfao, especially his laugh. Good times

The brand-specific pay-per-views limited the possibilities of a lot of great potential matches.

Mordecai debuted vs Scotty Too Hotty in 2004 i think it was Vengeance. Some B show PPV, at least.
Years later ended in WWECW as Kevin Thorn

I was in the crowd when Eddie had the beer dumped on him. No one was upset that day, we chanted "he deserved it". Gotta love live shows 😉

2003 was sort of the weakest year in the 2000's but we still got great moments. The Lesnar-Angle Fued carried the year with great matches including the Wrestlemania Main Event and that Iron Man Match.

@@ericebjonesii1378 2006 and 2007 had some great matches of course like John Cena vs Edge TLC at Unforgiven 2006,the MITB Match at WM22 where RVD won,Batista vs Taker at WM23 and the One Hour John Cena vs Shawn Michaels Match on the 23rd April 2007 RAW.

Raghavan N match quality yes. But the product as a whole was a STEEP decline. Those were the twilight years of the ruthless aggression era. And also when A LOT of people turned away from WWE.

The Attitude Era was the late 90s/turn of the 21st century. The "heart" of the era in my opinion was WM 14 when Mike Tyson punched out Shawn Michaels

RatedRMario21 , Okay... I did a Little research... I guess the “official” name of this era was the “Ruthless Aggression Era.” So, replace AE with RAE above. I stand corrected lol.
I just hate the PG era.
I completely stopped watching in 2007 or 2008. It was too boring for my preference.

If THE SUN was such an "all around scumrag paper" then why are we considering his interview in it to be false? You said his intention was to do another year and retire. That was correct to the point where Booker likely didnt get any roles he desired in hollywood so he continued wrestling. So how was THE SUN wrong with their reporting?
