2147 crew, when you mounted your passenger pillow does it move side to side slightly? I mounted mines last night and I felt like it had more play than normal
How is the solo seat secured so that the unscrupulous opportunist does not simply remove it? I know that it becomes more difficult to remove when the passenger seat is on, especially given when you can use a lock on the rear, but I’m trying to understand how to secure the solo seat (without the passenger installed against it). Thanks
It’s on there with some screws that come with it. It’s tough to put on and off. Kinda don’t want to make a vid on it.. lol but I totally understand. I’m thought of that as well.
How does it feel under your legs? Is it wider than the stock seat or the same? I just got the venom seat and it’s way too wide in the front. Considering trading it for the freedom.
I’d say it’s a little slimmer than stock. I haven’t had the venom seat. So, I wouldn’t know if there’s a difference between them. However, I can say that the freedom seat is very comfortable. I’ll ride 1k miles in a day and my body isn’t beat up.
Did it sit you back? Lower? I bought one already for my 17 street glide but have not received it yet. Standard size but will return for the tall boy if needed. I'm 5'11" and 190 lbs. Thanks!!
It sits about the same as stock. But it has a larger back area. It feels a little forward but I think that’s because of the new gel/cushion. You should be okay with the regular since it has to be broken in. But it also depends on how you like to ride. Either way, it’s much better than stock. For sure. Oh and the solo seat look is nice. I was curious how tall you are? Does it raise you up any higher, or set you down lower, or it th ride height about the same as stock? Also, have you rode 2 up yet? Was curious about passenger comfort?

took 6 months ordered in June just tot it in Jan 26th but I was aware of the back order and all custom seats take at least 3 months so I knew I was not going to have it for last season. you order now you will have it before spring I'm sure they had 100s of orders before me calling in the middle of the most busiest time of the year didn't help. Worth the wait .And worth the money. thank you George. the customer service is the best I ever had with any company by a mile... I would highly recommend the freedom seat it's a very nice seat.

So I ordered the red stitching one and the wait was 6 weeks. I called the next day and they said they had a black one and could ship soon. I said ship it. Lol. So about a week. Not bad.

Not really. I did tighten up the ones under the main seat and that would do it. If not then when you install the one on the back. It’s a good seat.

you didn't show how to install the back seat. did you bolt the hooks under the 2 nuts?

How long did it take you to receive your seat?
About 3 weeks. But totally worth it. I got about 35k on this seat and it’s still new.

Looking at the shot at the end of the video I see the backrest is raised pretty high. Will it drop lower than that with the solo seat?
The backrest has three positions. I ride with it on the 2nd slot. Very comfortable.

it bolts up to the rider seat. and then you have the original Phillips head screw on the rear fender. same spot your stock one.
