    Great video.
    As an ex drug addict I spent a ton of time locked away in my room "conserving resources", as if leading up to some big apocalyptic event, but in the end I was left with nothing. Now that I'm out and about in the world and have mentally recovered I have taken on this philosophy you are talking about and it does truly work. It's so counter-intuitive to our human nature, or mine at least. But giving is memorable, and the more you give away the more of your e g o you let go as well.
    Keep up the videos, I really like the direction you've been taking lately, 2016 is gonna be big!

      Taylor Gavinchuk what kind of drugs were you addicted to? I myself am finally free 13 days no heroin to be honest. I had to leave the town I was in my friends encouraged me I got a greyhound back to my hometown were I can't find H. We're in at here sucks kinda but I can't score. I was not paying my rent and had a short job my roommate kicked me out so I stayed with a friend but I kept using and this time I was around someone who cares about me. They could see me using every day. I had a job were I made $30 dollars a day loading a van in the morning for an hour and unloading it at 5 pm. During the day I would mow lawns in the neighbor hood and buy H in that neighborhood too. We got a greyhound and I went to Asheville NC to my friends farm. I want to go back but afraid of the environment TBH. My friend were I came from is getting a new place in OCT. I'm going to go back in October and start over so I have a month and a half. I'm just hustling on eBay right now and doing that. Been smoking the ganja but i started to feel good about 3 days ago it was hell I know I'm not out of the woods yet as far as energy levels go but I almost got a greyhound yesterday to go back but I decided to wait until oct and move in with my friend. We're in at in Asheville at the farm is free and it's nice kinda but I can't stay here they are just letting me stay as long as I can to stabilize. Any advice anyone? Pm me please I would appreciate it and if anyone else is struggling hit me up I would love to talk thanks -derek

    I don't even scan the environment is such a high level frame!
    It does not really matter who you are going to talk to, the first approaches and sets are practice anyways, you don't expect anything and after a while you have option and scan maybe then for the girls the liked the most.
    --> extreme buyer-frame, while giving value!

    In order for everyone to stop being neurotic about "what should I give??? What are they going to take???" I'll add, that everyone of us has unique perspective and personality, unique experiences, so just put your focus into expressing your authenticity. This in itself contains self-amusement and will draw attention from others.
    This is really liberating and will avoid people-pleasing mentality.

    Around 9:20, you reminded me of an excellent lesson I picked up in the audiobook "Zen Mind: The beginners mindset", the just of it is to never lose your beginners mind, and never become an expert. Because an expert is limited in how many new experiences he can have, he's jaded and moves off of discipline rather than taking the time to become motivated and excited for it like a beginner, and he can not learn much, and prideful was sneaks into the back door. Just wanted to share this. Awesome videos Julian, you're the fuckin man

  • @simonzackrisson6437

    Nice. :)
    One thought I had while watching this though was that, if you don't come from a solid frame of freedom from outcome, ppl will probably look at you like you have a hidden motive and are attempting to use them. But then again, it wouldn't really be genuine giving, if you're only doing it so you can gain gratification when people see you as a nice person.
    People pleasing.
    Perhaps the best of two worlds is when you are independant of outcome, but still find happiness in being a positive person and being intact with your integrity.
    If you hold up the door for someone, and the response is arrogant ungreatfulness, your happiness isn't afffected.

    I didn't really get what you were saying at first because I tend to fall into the seller frame and I try to stay away from it. But it makes more sense when you think about it because when you look at inferior people who can't get laid, they're just trying to take and see what they can get. They aren't focused on just giving abundantly and not expecting anything in return. You have to come from the frame that you're giving because you want to give and put yourself out there and you're never doing it just to get something in return.

    This is really itneresting and one of those 'obvious in hindsight'. i actually came to realize this at work, and this is gonna sound ridiculous, but my job offered me a promotion and I kept turning it down, because I didn't feel like I was getting enough return for the new responsibilities. Eventually Ii kinda thought to myself, you know what, fuck it, I might as well just givem them what they want, and ironically, or I guess maybe not, it ended up benefiting me more in the long term, as well as creating a more positive relationship, where its this 'win- win' or exchange of favours, rather than me just trying to snatch as much as I can for myself.

    If we give because it makes us feel good or because we have intentions on still getting something in return; isn’t that still selfishness? Give because you recognize how abundant the universe is. understand “self” is an illusion. We are all one ecosystem. What you reap is what you sow. Make sure the intention is good and patient. The Universe is smarter than you. It knows your heart better than you.

    How did you get your video with subtitles in Spanish?
    Did you make them or youtube generates them automatically?
    Thanks for answering... Love your videos

    I want to check if i understand the statement correctly.
    "is your goal to get the stuff to get the girl as a byproduct of that stuff:"
    i.e is your goal purely to gain the understanding/knowledge/ability to get the girl and seeing her as a reward?
    i hope i didn't misinterpret.
    Thanks

    • @NIGHTSIGHT
      @NIGHTSIGHT 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Kim JUNGJOE No, like he also said in this video, seeing 'getting the girl' as a reward comes from the mindset of taking. With 'the stuff' he means beeing positiv, free from outcome and exited. You GIVE people your positiv attitude and let them join your fun. If you know how to game yourself properly you will always draw in people naturally, which is the 'byproduct of that stuff'.

    Say if you’re trying to master a skill, an instrument for example. Would your exchange simply be consistently giving your time to practice and being positive about the experience? Great videos tho bro keep up the good work 💪🏻

    • @alannahalannah2873
      @alannahalannah2873 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah but ya gotta want to give/put in the time to practice and shit. If you just drag yourself around, not truly enjoying practicing, progress won't really be made. It will plateu

    What is the difference between value offering and positive and people pleasing? I cant put my finger on it. Like when i see videos of luke hes never negative but i would never seee him as a people pleaser.

    • @kvega30
      @kvega30 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      people pleasing falls more along the lines of constant, "I'm sorry, did i offend you? please like me." compared to the former, "shooting the shit with your friends having a good time "

    Julien is fucking awesome! If you are interested in this subject of Giving vs Taking, I recommend a book called Give and Take, by Adam Grant. It illustrates how to be a Giver but without the burnout of offering to just takers.

    Julien, you are wise beyond your years. How did you acquire such wisdom at such a young age. People do not naturally think this way. It usually comes after experiencing massive pain or hitting rock bottom. What is your story?
