After discovering the art of Zentangle a couple days ago, I am having such a blast hours on end copying all these great patterns from this video and the others she has done. I have a Bible with pressed leaf patterns in the leather. I saw a lady paint the leaves of hers with metallic paint. I was wondering if I could use Sakura Metallic pens or any of the other kinds. It would be so much easier to use a pen than a paint brush on this. The video is very informing and Joanne you explained at a very good pace & loved your examples of each use.
After watching several of your videos, and having purchased and loving the large field kit, I went online and ordered another $150. of your products tonight. I LOVE SAKURA!!!
I love Sakura pens! They are a bit more expensive but absolutely worth every penny! I have pens that I bought at least 8 years ago, they were packed away and put in storage for at least a year. When I went back to get them, they were as fresh and strong as the day I bought them. Can't say enough good things about all the Sakura pens. Thank you Joanne for your lovely and inspiring work!
I had never heard of any of these pens before but now I want them all. I bought a set of the Glaze pens this morning at a yard sale for $1 and searched You Tube for videos about them.

As aBeginner, I am still finding my self very confused when it comes to all thr Different Pens that seem to be on the Market, It is becoming quite obvios to me that A. I really liked your video and learnt alot, I have the stardust and the glaze pens and love them too. I wondered at the start why you got some dislikes and my guess is that it's the camera angle changes to side on view, where instead of talking to us (the camera) you're talking to someone else. Apart from that, love the products and thanks for sharing.

sakura still sells to graffiti stores in mass deals, and sakura solid paint sticks are still illegal to have in public with you so why is a industrial marker illegal to have in public?
Any marker and its intended use is up to the imagination of the user. So with that being said if you are planning on using it for "graffiti art" go for it. However, graffiti art is not to be confused with vandalism or defacing. They paint well on your own possessions,canvas,plastic,wood,etc. It would be a shame to go outside and use these markers/pens for vandalism when their are cooler, safer profitable methods. I paint on canvas, plywood, action figures, model kits. Don't go break laws!

I just started horizontal storage. Still have 2 which seem to leak into cap, maybe just the effect of higher elevation. Love them.
