One bullshit press release after another. Each "clarifying" the previous b.s. Dynamitic Pricing = Surge Pricing. The spent $$$ setting this up and they're not going to throw it all out now. The food you get there is crap, and now they expect the public to pay a double for it? NFW!
Indeed, and rather ballzy to imply that publicly. They were hoping to quietly raising prices (in or around) 30 cents during hours of high volume, majority of people likely would not notice ($7.40 to $7.70), it's a win-win for them
The fast-food empires are imploding. Once upon a time it was cheap, fast and good enough. Now it's as expensive, or more expensive, than a "regular" restaurant where everything is made fresh and to order, and it's slow and the food is terrible. Places like Wendy's which were never that good to begin with are now going into price gouging and are proud of it. Been to a McD's lately? It's a fortune and the food is crap.
It won't. It they will just raise prices during peak hours and people will still pay more because they're in a rush. People like you are why they get away with manipulating the masses. You don't see the big picture
Wendy’s hasn’t built the infrastructure to do this. Very little automation, no double drive throughs. Ok sure the prices are lower but if it takes 30 min they get your food. You’re gonna take a hit with customers. Also does This mean dynamic pay for employees also?
It’s why I stopped eating out, pricing is up quality is down.
it's been like this since they started this "restaurant" craze. nothing will change expect for price hikes.
Fast food has always been trash quality. At least it used to be cheap...
Still' price gauging' discrimination is discrimination' to those not able to go at those discounted times.

B.S. They knew what they intended. This is what is known as back peddling after the back lash!

Wendy is going to raise the price right before busy hours hit so they can say we did not raise our price during busy hours. 😂

Hopefully this will put an end to the long lines of hungry customers trying to get a burger between 5pm and 7pm as demand outstrips supply.

Customer "How come my burger is more expensive today?"
Wendy's "It's not more expensive today, it was just cheaper yesterday"
🙄

Sounds like yahoo has skin in the game...
Is “happy hour” really a form of dynamic pricing?
