Your review appeared, as if by wizardry, in my TH-cam feed. I recently got this pen, my first Magna Carta, and it is unique. Nice grip section, well-proportioned, good balance and smooth furniture finishes. I'm curious as to how it will respond over time and use, as, copper and silver and hard rubber often change surface texture and color in response to user's individual chemistry and environmental factors. Will this fray. become more suede-like, or darken and develop a shine? Time will tell. I own a Pelikan that has a finish resembling denim, but it's applied to a plastic body, not at all the same as our Denima. Thanks for the interesting discussion.
@@judyjacobs5827 it’s so funny because I just literally journaled with it and I had to clean my hands first (my hands are super dry right now). From the feel of it, they didn’t put a lot of resin so I am assuming this will ‘patina’ over time. I think it’ll be ok though. I love worn out jeans! 😂
I’d be curious to hear if you have issues with your ink drying out. I loaded mine with Diplomat Black a week ago, and the ink has already dried out (condensed). It’s unusable now. I think the pen material is too porous.
I inked it Saturday and I've used Sunday and today, and so far, no hard starts and no drying. I did hear because it is made of fabric, there could possibly have holes in the body or the cap, which would definitely dry up the ink. Listen, use up that 5 year warranty. I heard if you contact them, they can send you a new one. Personally, that's what I would do. THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
You are very talented. Keep it up!
