I think what what've fully sold me for this shot is how your first guy is positioned. I wish he was holding onto a pole or something with one arm wrapped around it while the other was holding onto the woman. Other than that this is awesome
These things are done so quick that most people just won't understand what is being pressed. Tutorials aren't tutorials when you're moving at the pace you work at. Slower tutorials will lead to more subscribers & more chances of selling the packs.
Totally agree! I have these packs and I'm finding it difficult to blend the simplest of VFX into footage.......they're claiming to be "drag and drop" but all these tutorials do are bombard you with a glossary of terms or program functions. We need some BASIC tutorials, however impressive the packs are.
@@deadcityriots 100%. It's just like! Do this, this & this & the result is this. The packs have some great effects but, what is the point when these non-tutorials are just moving so quickly. It's one thing to be a person showing it who is used to doing VFX, & another thing to teach it. Teaching is a separate skill, & that is why some other channels have massive followers because they do it slowly enough so people understand what is happening.
There are tutorials which show basics. If you look at some other videos for different pack, such as the Superpowers pack or the Destruction pack, there are different videos that give a basic rundown of different effects. I would recommend you watch some of those
You're not wrong, but I think this is more about showing the workflow rather than a step-by-step guide, because if you already know enough about AE a step-by-step tutorial would be too slow and specific
Hey i always wanted to try making a “Narnia” scene but in a closet. So when you open a closet door anyware in the house but when you open the door there is a different world, im not good at this at all but is that something you think you could do? Show how you would make something like that? I just want to see how someone like you would address something like this.
@Happy Buddha thank you for your honest opinion. I think trees should start with no movement or slow movement. You can try freeze frame but thats not it ofcourse. Thx
to be honest, the thing that got me clicking the video is the tornado itself. I thought maybe you would make it using Element 3D and some noise layers, but it's kinda disappointing to find out you just drag and dropped a mov file of a tornado
